Hey for me, you're up there with Farhad. Like I said when you got your Gold 100 (and that was only 3 months ago) - Eastern Europe's taking over the Sift. Good thing, too; judging by the quality of your posts nobody could ever complain.

I'd agree with that, if it weren't for the "always" bit.

Objective looks around the world show national health care plans can be made to work, and that on balance, most seem to work better than our "let the free market handle it" approach.

Not-so-objective looks like mine, start with me being angry that our culture demands that someone must be making a profit at all times, even when we're talking about dealing with the sick and injured. Further, our culture demands that we say "that's okay" if the companies increase their profits by compromising care.

The best phrase I've heard for describing the state of medical insurance companies in America is "murder by spreadsheet."

It's spelled Beatles, not Beattles. It looks like the initial poster AND the editor overlooked the correct spelling of the world's best known musical group. That could explain the lack of views.

probably not. yea it looks like a simple mixture, though I thought I'm pretty sure its corn starch and water. Mythbusters made a similar mixture and walked across it during their "ninja" episode. long as you keep moving across it you stay up, but stand still for to long and it sucks you down. much like how he was showing the ball and once he stopped rolling it, it "melted". only thing im not sure of is the mixture, though I know I've seen this substance before.

You can never send ground troops to another country under the flag of one nation and not make it look like an invasion.
