*Woohoo - it's now officially controversial!
So..where are my Whitney Houston videos again?..
In reply to this comment by Krupo:
I saw it with 9 today, thinking "huh, though it sifted?"
Ohhh, downvotes! Nice!
In reply to this comment by Eklek:
Yes indeed, it seems well produced mainstream is hard to sift, well, it got one extra vote:) So 1 more to go! Thanks to your promote Moby got sifted , Bamdrew so far did not downvote..
So far for contentious sifting..
De gustibus non disputandum est

Yay, thanks. You'd figure a "song of the summer" would have an easier time making it out of queue, eh?

The sad story of the World's Largest Record Collection
Sad. I've been to a lot of antique stores and records are one of the most worthless things in the shop. Nobody even bothers to browse them.
He needs to find a museum willing to archive them rather than expecting someone to come along and buy. Or he could talk to Moby.
Evolution of the laptop
what a beautiful piece of music. for those that wonder it is Moby- god moving across the face of the waters. This song since I found it in high school has been my "favorite song " wit is what will play at my funeral as it is so beautiful. awesome how far along laptops have come.
Beyond the Sea - Moby & "Oscar The Punk" remix from Bioshock
Just to clarify, it's (Moby & "Oscar The Punk" remix), not ("Moby & Oscar" The Punk Remix).
BBC - Horizon - The Bible Code

And a little quote from BRM's link:
"It has come to my attention that some people have taken this page as claiming that Moby Dick really predicted the assassinations of famous people. Please be assured that none of these patterns happened by other than pure random chance.
No laws of probability are violated here, or even stretched a little. That is also true of Drosnin's book, which is the whole point of this page. Once you learn Drosnin's rules (none) and the method (a bit of messy programming) you can find things like this anywhere. The reason it looks amazing is that the number of possible things to look for, and the number of places to look, is much greater than you imagine."
The Unfunny Truth about Scientology (A bit graphic)
Don't even get me started on Moby.
BBC - Horizon - The Bible Code
When my critics find a message about the assassination of a prime minister encrypted in Moby Dick, I'll believe them.
(Newsweek, Jun 9, 1997)
Assassinations predicted by "Moby Dick":
-Prime Minister Indira Gandhi
-President Rene Moawad
-Soviet exile Leon Trotsky
-The Reverend Martin Luther King
-Chancellor Engelbert Dollfuss
-The assassin Sirhan Sirhan
-John F. Kennedy
-Abraham Lincoln
-Yitzhak Rabin
And Special Guest star:
Princess Diana

The Unfunny Truth about Scientology (A bit graphic)
This music wasn't all that bad. But if I have to hear that one by Moby song where he says "Ohh" one more time I'm gonna scream.
