I'm one of the few who actually beat Bionic Commando on the NES. You know, the game that was intensely impossible to get through on certain levels? The one with no save feature? The one that took nearly six hours to play through? Yeah, that one.

But at that time, games like The Legend of Zelda, Mike Tyson's Punch Out, and Contra, were the fun games. Before that time, for computer games, was ones like Empire, Wing Commander, Space Quest, and even Zork. And before those games: Pong. While the graphics of games have improved tremdously, the game play has remained a constant.

Castlevania 2, Rescue the Embassy, Russian Attack, Jackal, JAWS, and others, were enjoyable games for their day. COD, WoW, EQ, and others, that are popular now, will soon be retired in favoror of newer, more graphic intensive games in 5-10 years.

Did you even watch the video? Both sides need to expand their perspectives, both sides need to take responsiblity and both sides need to be willing to take steps to fix the situation.

Oh yeah, and the people with nukes, attack choppers, artillery, tanks and white phosphorous should probably stop taking cheap shots at the people bottled up in the worlds largest concentration camp with nothing more than assault rifles and the occasional RPG. Oh, on this I do agree, however, most Karate-ka and Kung-fu practitioners are taught ways to throw punches that are both safe (in that they minimize potential damage to those fragile bones), but also deliver a strong amount of force. We've seen Bruce Lee's 1-inch-punch, derived from Wing Chun Kung-fu. We've seen Elvis drop people with Ed Parker's American Kempo Karate. UFC MMA fighters don't usually use as much wrap as boxers (granted, most don't use traditional boxing gloves - most prefer open-fingered Kempo-style gloves).

To me, this speaks to how unrefined Tyson's technique has always been. He may hit like a freight train, but if you can survive one or two hits, or even better, get him to miss and hit a sturdy object instead, like a wall, it wouldn't matter how hard he hits. Outside of the ring is a very different situation than the structured rules of boxing.

I've always wondered how Tyson would hold up in an octagon. I doubt he'd last long against a fighter with a more varied, well-rounded skill set.

Of course, finding someone who fits that description, and yet is still dumb enough to step into the ring with him would probably be impossible

He doesn't really know how to punch without his gloves on. It's pretty common among the trashiest boxers who frequently engage in such "unsanctioned" fights.
