Operation Douchebag

The C4 appears to be a bit too powerful. They went for realism over acceptable good gameplay weighting.

Well if you have good knowledge of what is happening on the map, C4 is not more of a problem than any other weapon. In fact you can count is as melee, because you have to go near the place you want to blow up.
But nonetheless I like me some good old exploding jeep maneuvering.

what the fuck? is this some sort of free for all intersection? even pedestrians are wandering into the street without concern.

Looks like it could be from India, or one of the countries in that general area. Every time I see a video of traffic from over there its like a grand melee free-for-all. Gives me a little perspective when I think the people around here drive like asses.

Oh, quit moaning about the hats in TF2. "Who is that running at me in the distance? Is it a scout or a heavy? I can't tell because they're wearing a hat!"

True nuff to be fair, but I can't tell you the number of times I've put a bullet through somebodies tower of hats thinking I'd be awarded a headshot. They do detract from the style of the game imo, plus they shit all over my framerate...

Weapon unlocks did fuck up that "instantly distinguishable class" thing a little bit tho. Demos are either mid range monsters packing tonnes of explosives, or melee tanks, and I quite often only find out which after I've hit them with a rocket or something.

Moan grumble moan humbug. ANEEEEWAI Brink is bad, TF2 is cheaper, more fun, will probably be around longer and actually runs on AMD cards.

RAGE - Gameplay Trailer

Tired old school gameplay right down to the glowing pick ups and melee/pistol/shotgun/sms blah blah weapons. I'll save myself $60 by going through a box with all my old games I have in my closet that's been untouched for 5 years. Carmack just never changes.

10 Fully Armored Police vs. 1 Burnt Out Drug Addict...GO

I normally do not bash police work, but this seems strange.
It's obvious that the suspect has a weapon in his hand, but it's also obvious that it is a melee weapon. The suspect pretty much goes down on the first shot. The rest are kill shots.
Now, if this was a military op I would understand, but this seems like strange procedure in police work - SWAT team or not.

I had a discussion about this kind of thing with a cop a while back. She basically said that you don't fire unless you fear for your life, and if that is the case then you don't fire just one bullet and wait to see if one was enough. Part of that is because with some drugs one bullet isn't going to neutralize the person immediately unless it's through the head or spine. Another part is that a judge/jury is less likely to believe the officer feared death if they only fired once.

In this case it's hard to tell because of the poor video quality. The first time I watched this video I thought the guy opened his front door and the police gunned him down immediately. Watching it again they were inside yelling "search warrant" and then there's suddenly a guy holding a golf club (?) in a stance like he's about to attack with it. I watched that part several times but couldn't tell if the guy was moving forward, backward, or standing still.

I prefer non-lethal means, but in this case I'm not sure what the cop should have done differently at that moment, nor can I say with any certainty what I would have done in his place (one reason why I'm not a cop). I've seen police video of a meth'd-up guy repeatedly punching someone with his severely broken arm, so I doubt a non-lethal bullet wound would stop someone in that state (all the more reason for preemptive flashbangs).

I feel that the first cop in perhaps should have had a tazer rather than a pistol, but then I'm not sure what he would do if the guy had turned the corner with a shotgun instead. That's a situation I don't care to be on either side of.

I love Reach, but they made it less skill-based. I understand that this was in the interest of making it a more "team"-oriented game, but when I can't mash on two fucking noobs just because 4 body shots plus one headshot is THE SAME THING as 5 headshots with the DMR, I feel fucking betrayed. Now that the SWAT playlist is live, that and Rumble Pit are the only thing I'll be touching. It's still a good game, but making it noob-friendly kills a lot of my enjoyment as somebody who's okay at the game.

Heh, I actually have some good stuff happen to me with Armour lock. People don't seem to realize that when the guy comes out, if you're too close, you're hit with an EMP burst losing shields.
Can't tell you how many double kills I've gotten by having two idiots just stand beside me in armour lock.
Oh, and then there's always this beauty.

Haha, that's always great. Sprint is my overall favorite, but lately I've been having a lot of fun with Hologram, and Armor Lock is always useful, especially if you have a teammate to drop a nade on the morons just waiting for you to come out of it so they can melee you. In a one-on-one situation, dropping your armor lock for anything other than blocking a quick melee is pretty disadvantageous oftentimes though, because if they have four nades they can just space them so that you WILL die as soon as you come out of it (if they're thinking, that is).

Wish I had seen this review before I bought it. Absolute worst Metroid in the series and shouldn't even have the title. He barely touched on the control scheme (missiles, melee, etc) and how utterly bad it is.

@00Scud00

The role reversal doesn't work so well when your trash talking douchbaggery can be disputed by:

"Say what you want, retard, I just shot you in the face because you're moving two inches at a time and meleeing the air"

Defeats the entire purpose of the video.

Alright, I'm sorry. I know the point of the video..
..but if you're going to make a video of this sort, at least take 5 minutes to show the girls what you do with a controller.
There's at least one there that is sitting there pressing every button possible. I'm sitting here in my halo mindset, watching the one girl go "Move, melee, move, melee, move, melee, move, melee"
You see someone in a halo match moving two inches then punching the air.. that person dies first.
And the only thing the d-pad is for is push up to talk.. the other 3 parts to it do nothing, so switching between the left analog and the d-pad is virtually.. useless.

Lawl! Of all the things to complain about!

I love you Shep! <3

Wow, I say Protesters firing guns and beating police pretty much deserve to get shot.

It's a rebellion dude. They want to resignation of the Kygyrzstan president. So they take to the street.

The cops are getting their asses beat because they broke formation. The worse thing to do, when retreating, is to break formation. It is a given that people should not break and run, they should withdraw. Something like this;

You see how the actors portraying Navy Seals never turn their backs, and never break formation; only until it is relatively safe. Never turn and run, when the enemy is bearing down.

For a Melee see any movie depicting armored formations, break the shield wall and it is a massacre.
