Yeah, and notice how statist apologists would see this as something that just needs a minor tweaking to make right. Government is force and violence and has no capacity for eloquence and temperance.

BP Fails Booming School 101
>> ^Mcboinkens:
Language ruined it. We get it,
youryou're pissed, just like everyone else. Using language with that kind of an annoying voice is just frustrating. Also, if the media got this right(they probably didn't), didn't BP hire a lot of local workers to help drop booms? If so, that may answer part of why the booming blows.Might I point out that your first comment had one of the biggest grammar mistakes in the English language? I do it too, and I regret making a grammatical error every time; it stings a little.
Aside from that the video reached me just fine, although it could use more diagrams. Also, if BP did hire a bunch of local people to do booming, those people are still part of BP even if they are contracted. I doubt the locals would be put in charge; unless they had excellent knowledge of how to boom. However, if the data shown to us in the video is true it is clear that BP needs to attend booming school; but too little and too late.

Look at the third picture of the slide show in the following National Geographic link. Somethings not right there.

I was lucky they didn't have Snow Leopard already installed on my Mac Pro. Leopard is pre-installed, but they also sent the Snow Leopard disk along with it. I refuse to upgrade until I must.
Being an early adopter is fine if you're willing to put up with the headaches of things not working. I do so much with my machine, that I need stability and reliability, so I'm not the gambling type when new software comes out.
I, too, shall wait. And wait. And wait.

Using Twitter (Blog Entry by dotdude)
I’ve added some items to the original post concerning two books on Twitter, TwitterGroups and links to the profile I have. If I think of other stuff, I’ll probably do another blog post.
In December Pownce pulled the plug and remains as an archive. Jaiku will soon follow. Plurk is similar to Twitter, but I don’t think it has as broad an appeal as does Twitter – even though it has threaded conversations. On Plurk, I am also dotartdude.
