You're welcome. Thanks for freeing my Kaolin vid, too

As you can see, there is currently a 6 month delay between me putting a video on my list of ones to promote and then getting to it File that under "better late than never".

You're only one vid away from bronze, too.

p.s. Is this your lego marble run one?

Thank you for promoting the Powaqqatsi clip I submitted. It's a great piece; I only wish I could have been at the concert! Anyway, thanks again, it's nice to see it published.

Monty Python - Never Be Rude To an Arab

sallyjune says...

Live at the Hollywood Bowl, epic event from 1982 from seasoned masters of irreverent comedy. Fast-forward 27 years children-Those who fancy themselves progressive, sensitive, and politically correct, would add convenient labels ("hate speech" "bigotry")because of course, it's much more convenient to avoid a topic altogether with a mind conditioned to react to certain words, regardless of the context, than to respond with a thoughtful, intelligent observation.

The same children see no harm in the comedy of Trey Parker and Matt Stone, use expletives online in their editorials and opinions regardless of the mores they adhere to that keep them from coloring a conversation at their job or in public with the same, and are the first to cry foul when a complete stranger's so-called "rights", civil or otherwise, are violated.

What to do with a world full of spineless pussies, hmmm?

Teach them Chinese?
The world today seems absolutely crackers,
With nuclear bombs to blow us all sky high.
There's fools and idiots sitting on the trigger.
It's depressing and it's senseless, and that's why...
I like Chinese.
I like Chinese.
They only come up to your knees,
Yet they're always friendly, and they're ready to please.

I like Chinese.
I like Chinese.
There's nine hundred million of them in the world today.
You'd better learn to like them; that's what I say.

I like Chinese.
I like Chinese.
They come from a long way overseas,
But they're cute and they're cuddly, and they're ready to please.

I like Chinese food.
The waiters never are rude.
Think of the many things they've done to impress.
There's Maoism, Taoism, I Ching, and Chess.

So I like Chinese.
I like Chinese.
I like their tiny little trees,
Their Zen, their ping-pong, their yin, and yang-ese.

I like Chinese thought,
The wisdom that Confucious taught.
If Darwin is anything to shout about,
The Chinese will survive us all without any doubt.

So, I like Chinese.
I like Chinese.
They only come up to your knees,
Yet they're wise and they're witty, and they're ready to please.

All together.

[verse in Chinese]
Wo ai zhongguo ren. (I like Chinese.)
Wo ai zhongguo ren. (I like Chinese.)
Wo ai zhongguo ren. (I like Chinese.)
Ni hao ma; ni hao ma; ni hao ma; zaijien! (How are you; how are you; how are you; goodbye!)

I like Chinese.
I like Chinese.
Their food is guaranteed to please,
A fourteen, a seven, a nine, and lychees.

I like Chinese.
I like Chinese.
I like their tiny little trees,
Their Zen, their ping-pong, their yin, and yang-ese.

I like Chinese.
I like Chinese.
They only come up to your knees...
