Don't take it personally. We are inundated with spammers all day and every day, so we have lots of automatic measures in place to combat them.
For the vast majority of the cases, the system blacklists only who is truly a spammer, but once in a while we get a false positive. It just so happens that posting, in your case, your very first comment with content that looks like you're advertising a product for sale is a trigger. In every other case before you for several years there's never been a false positive for this reason, so you just got lucky I guess.
Your account has been un-blacklisted and your comment has been posted:

Hello Dag, I'm not sure how to privately message you from mobile so ill just leave this here. Apparently my home IP was just blacklisted from Videosift. Any time I visit I just get the Classic Rick Roll. This is what I get for trying to join the community I guess. I've been a lurker to this site for, eh, I'd say about 6 years when it was first shown to me. Always like to read the comments and the top 10 list. Anyway, I figured if make an account to post, Vygorous is the username. I just viewed that pixel stick video and wanted to know how much some shitty LED stick would set us back so I looked it up, saw that is was $350.00 and posted it as a comment with the specs they provided on their site, hit submit and bam, Instantly blacklisted. Any logic or reason to this? Sucks leaving this site behind but non sense like this would keep anyone away.
See you around.
Light painting with pixelstick
And btw it takes out every bit of "creativity" and "art" from light painting too!
It's like "painting" the Mona Lisa with a color printer!

Light-Paint Piano Player (35 sec)
From vimeo description:
Animated light paintings of a little piano player performing. Filmed at night with the lovely I-5 and San Diego skyline in the background. I would like to thank everyone for the fantastic feedback I have received lately. To answer a few questions, I wrote the music and recorded it first. The frames were photographed with a Canon Rebel using 20-30 second exposure time. I used a small green LED keychain light to draw each frame. Once all the positions were photographed they were strung together and synchronized to the music in After Effects.
