It's pining for the Fjords!
What an obliging lazy cat.
EDIT: I liked this better when I watched it from work and couldn't hear the fart sound.

One Very Strange Cat
ehhh being a lazy cat owner, (you do the adjective to noun mapping) i'm not prepared yet to say this isn't just a normal cat
O Hai! Were on ur treadmill feelin teh burrrrrn
I'm guessing from the use of the word "make" that you don't have cats... But surprisingly, there are not only other videos of cats on tradmills on youtube, there are even one or two on the sift. The other videos feature slow-moving cats with enticing toys dangled before their eyes--and always the cats venture forth solo. This video shows, I suspect, cats long past the stage where artificial enticement was needed. These are the sleek speed racers of the feline treadmill world. I am so fascinated by their quick trot that I have probably watched this clip 30 times.

This brush is very similar to the brush that I use, and I think it's the best one out there. It may seem pricey, but it is totally worth it. It won't fall apart, and it's a great design and really gets the most fur out in the shortest time. I've only had mine for a little less than a year (got it at a County Fair last summer for only 25 bucks), and I've seen these brushes go for 50-70 dollars in pet supply stores. Before that, I would use a flea comb and a slicker brush which worked decently, but after getting this brush, I never went back.

Thanks for that... I've tried the mitts and a "Zoom Groom"- she hates 'em. I've got a couple different brushes too- do you have a specific reccomendation for brushes to try?

Fur real? (Sorry.)
Is your cat an adult, or is she still young? I'm guessing she isn't accustomed to being brushed regularly. Even though my Issy is short-haired, she is VERY used to being brushed. In fact, she quite enjoys it! She likes follow me into the bathroom and jump up on the (closed) carpeted toilet and is basically telling me that she is ready for a brushing. I've brushed her since she was a itty bitty kitty, and it's supposed to be a great activity to help you bond with your cat. All I can say is, make sure you have a really good brush/ de-shedder. I have one that looks like a metal rake, and it gets a LOT of loose hairs out very efficiently. Try getting a firm hold of her scruff so that you may avoid getting bitten or scratched, and only brush her in very very short sessions. Maybe you can slowly get her accustomed to it, and maybe she will even learn to like it. Hope that this is of some help, and good luck!
edit: I just thought of something else. There are also grooming mitts available in some pet supply stores, and these might make it easier to get her accustomed to grooming before moving on to the brushings.

I need some help. My Kittie needs a brushin' too- it being spring and all, but she'll only (barely) tolerate it for about 30 seconds before drawin' blood. Any advice to offer?

Cat Loves Exercising!
SO cuuuute! I love this video! What a perfect refutation of http://www.videosift.com/video/Lazy-cat-on-a-treadmill
Heh, re-watching that other video I realised something. That other cat video was cut off about 10 seconds before the cat's super static electricity move was powered up. The blast was so intense that it levelled a city block. This video was the only thing that was recovered from the crater.
