What does mama say?
Kronos, you are right. Within 41 seconds, this child made me smile. My personal kryptonite.
traffic cop Anderson breaks the law & has a message for NYC
It was a mistake for him to to call that lady the C word because that is kryptonite to most "Americans" and they will automaticly jump to the defense of the person that was called it (notice the 2 down votes already). But the fact of the matter is he was 100% correct and he was being fairly polite until that ex-cop showed up and started to intimidate him with her BS about how it is illegal to video tape cops on the job "because of the terrorism". Is she sure she didn't mean because of "Rodney King"? That lady was also the one that started with the name calling. He should have kept his cool though and just let her look bad...instead now some people look at her as the "victim" because he used the naughty naughty C word instead of the A word.
Fred Rogers*Picture Picture-How to Make a Steel Pan Drum
you have found my kryptonite.
Fred Rogers was such an amazing person.
The man is pretty much spottless. His dedication to helping children learn to deal with life, emotions, and such was just amazing. I get all misty-eyed when I watch the video where he testified to congress way back in, I think the late 60s or early 70s about getting more funding for public television.
How old-school U-locks can be opened with a Bic Pen
Indeed CC - all U-Locks with this vulnerability were pulled off the market after it was disclosed, about 2 years ago. The big manufacturer Kryptonite had a HUGE recall program to replace them - I never got around to enlisting in that; once again laziness trumped paperwork.
New U-locks use a different style key from the "bic pen"-breakable version, and AFAIK, are safe.
