Brought back fantastic memories. A friend of mine from Kenya taught me how to krump a few years ago. Since I already looked like the crazy white girl, I kept my arms in check most of the time. We'd go to parties with his African friends, and I would be the only white girl there. Definitely a different experience.

clearly, it is competetive (see the numbers underneath the titles?) dancing (see everyone on stage bompin and grindin and flailing about like crazed weasels? (but in time to the music) Hear the lyrics to the song? "Fuck you; I ain't scared of you! Krump, Clown, Bring it on down!" etc

But hey, that's just cuz I knew what it was when I brought it up to sift... so

Krumping/Clowning is soooo weird. I love it. It takes a bit of edge off the uber masculinity that usually accompanies hip-hop. Good find smibbo.

Overall some pretty high-quality breaking going on, though I've seen better. Thought the b-boys had it, but then I don't really dig Krumping. Also, I think the baggy clothes help moves look tidier.
