KRUMP 360 (The 360 Project) from Ryan Enn Hughes on Vimeo.
Dance Styles of the World (Blog Entry by Farhad2000)
Brought back fantastic memories. A friend of mine from Kenya taught me how to krump a few years ago. Since I already looked like the crazy white girl, I kept my arms in check most of the time. We'd go to parties with his African friends, and I would be the only white girl there. Definitely a different experience.
Battle Zone - I am on the Clown side
clearly, it is competetive (see the numbers underneath the titles?) dancing (see everyone on stage bompin and grindin and flailing about like crazed weasels? (but in time to the music) Hear the lyrics to the song? "Fuck you; I ain't scared of you! Krump, Clown, Bring it on down!" etc
But hey, that's just cuz I knew what it was when I brought it up to sift... so
*wtf
Battle Zone - I am on the Clown side
It would help if someone explained what the heck this is.
Battle Zone?
Krumping?
Clowning?
*wtf?

Thanks. I guess I'm going to have to go with the Clowners too.

Clowning; showy, funny, wear makeup and/or use props
Krumping; subtler, competetive, less clothing

What is difference between the two?

I prefer Clowning to Krumping - less macho, more snarky and a bit more controlled.

Krumping/Clowning is soooo weird. I love it. It takes a bit of edge off the uber masculinity that usually accompanies hip-hop. Good find smibbo.
B-boys Pwned by Goths
I thought it was called Krumping? Looked like one of 'em was Tight Eyez, as seen in Rize: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0436724/
Overall some pretty high-quality breaking going on, though I've seen better. Thought the b-boys had it, but then I don't really dig Krumping. Also, I think the baggy clothes help moves look tidier.
BeatBots: Socially Rhythmic Robots For Children
can't wait to see dancing robots that have arms and legs, and bust out the moonwalk and really krump it

Crip walking, stomp, strip dancing, clownin', krump, breakdance... take your pick.
