If you have any issues with people feeding your dog, consider the core (and controllable) problem, your dog is eating without your instruction.

We had a dog when I was a kid, & there were dog fighting rings in the area that the cops couldn't prove (or shutdown) and the asshole dog-fight trainers would steal "new competitors" by dropping tranquilized meat in their yard.

Well, my dog starved himself for 3 days while at a dog kennel when we were on holidays because my dad forgot to tell the couple looking after our dog that "he won't eat unless you say munchies". The couple spent $100's on dog foods ranging from basic to premium, steaks sold for humans, even tried force feeding him, until they eventually called us in tears and heartbreak about how the dog would not eat.

Quote dad: Oh shit, say munchies
Quote lady: (dogs name), munchies
Result: he hooked in like a starving dog would, who had been well trained to deal with people who would affect our dog for their own agenda.

"Your" dog's behaviour is YOUR responsibility, not a strangers.
One can be controlled, the other cannot. Pick your battles and fight what you can win.

The dog we had prior to the one in the above story, got stolen twice, we got him back once. Losing 1 dog due to our naivety was enough.

PS: i agree people "should" leave your pets/kids etc alone. However, this is reality and special conditions need to be accounted for.

This is where I live. Luckily at the moment my house is safe but it's pretty scary what's going on! I believe 38 homes have been destroyed. Fortunately no human lives have been lost so far, although sadly quite a lot of animals have perished, including a boarding kennel that burnt down.

You should read about Ian Thompsons ordeal. Riveting stuff. Imagine you are 21 minutes away from a police response you call them while 4 guys throw molotovs onto your house and dog kennel. You go and get a pistol, run out (even though they could be heard saying you're gona die) and shoot OVER their heads. Not to kill them but scare them away.

You get charged, 10's of thousands of legal costs, only to be aquited in the end. The 4 guys who firebombed his house barely got any time in jail for attemped murder.

It's obscene.

You seem so quick to judge, have any of you people ever called this kennel? had a conversation with them? gone to visit? Anyone who has would know WE, yes We (im nancy, from galdiator kennels) do not or ever have done anything illegal with our dogs, we DO NOT nor ever will support dog fighting, it is sick and crule.
If you have ever taken the time to visit or call us you would see we are experienced dog people, training dogs for 15 years and run our own very successfull training school, we train all types of dogs, big and small. SO my dog can jump in a tree...does not make him a killer! We breed true athletic dogs, we keep it real, not fat lazy dogs with crappy weak temperaments because they have been bred purley on size, color and nothing else, our breedings are done selectivley, we choose the right matches, top priority..a stable dog, good in the head, and heck our dogs are dam good looking, thats an added bonus. Educate yourselves learn before you blab away, Dont jump to conclusions. As for the poster of this video, pleaae remove it, it is not yours to post. We dont need negetive feedback because our kennel is being misrepresented here. We work very hard to breed good family dogs that also excel in legal sport work.

^At the very least you should place your pet in a kennel. It is the height of animal cruelty to let your pooch starve to death in your apartment after you have been whisked away by the hand of God.

It's possible they're also being bred and sold to be guard dogs.

Feel free to discard if it is, but nothing showed on the radar and I also tried a bunch of searches for: dog, kennel, escape and so on: Nothing came up.

LOL Hilarious. It's so true. Bassets are lovable but not the brightest bulb in the pack. That second pic is sooo him. He's always squeezing himself in the smaller dog's things.

I bought a huge kennel for him. My dogs enjoy sleeping in them sometimes. He wants to get in the small ones He's already crushed my Jack Russell's bed flat.
