No Justice for KBR Rape Victim

Fedquip says...

you can create any story you want at the moment. Sure go ahead and tell all of us how this flouzy is trying to fleece KBR, at then end of the day there has been no investigation...hence no justice... We don't have to speculate, they need to have a trial, Talk to the guy who gave her the cell phone, talk to the nurse who performed the rape autopsy, talk to the embassy guys who rescued her.

or not.

No Justice for KBR Rape Victim

9651 says...

those allegations have never been proven...it was however proven that she was getting drunk with the boys, just like all DUI people she only had a couple of drinks, someone must have drugged her...there has been absolutely 0 proof that more than one person had sex with her and his claim is that it was consensual...she was placed in a "standard housing unit" for less than 24 hrs. with an HR lady while they sorted it out...I guess they're pretty busy with thousands of contractors dying in Iraq and all...I just wonder how GI Jane goes on having been taken as a POW, repeatedly raped and held for months? I guess you can actually go on and work when there's no billion dollar corporation to sue...this isn't about justice, this is about hitting the lotto...KBR has a receipt for the kit, it was mishandled by the Army doctor and the Government offices...why not sue them? I guess it wouldn't make such good news and pump up the price...there is no coverup, the Army in the middle of a war lost a valuable piece of evidence and that's a shame...take it up with the appropriate people for justice and not money and I'll start believing...

Halliburton (does not) Supports the Troops

theaceofclubz says...

In Afghanistan the local labor that Halliburton employs only gets paid between 2 dollars(for doing unskilled labor - like clearing mines) to up to ten dollars if the Afghan could speak English and serve as foreman for the crew. This led to an overabundance of "hodgie" laborers running around and most of the KBR crew just serving as babysitters. It wouldn't surprise me if their fleecing of Afghanistan wasn't more efficient. I didn't, however, see any of the major fraud and abuse highlighted in this clip. Although, they did serve steak and lobster on Fridays in the chow hall.

/seriously - not that I was complaining at the time, but ya, they did.

Halliburton (does not) Supports the Troops

MarineGunrock says...

Oh, I am. I just don't know where to start. I think I needed a bit to cool down.
::Ahem::

And to think I almost took a job with those fucking assholes!
Let me start off by telling the sift where my water came from. Take a look at this map. You see that little creek under the arrow? Well, we had one of those running through our base. next to it were pumps and a filtration system. The water dogs (Marines who ran the pump/filter station) would pump it out, filter/"purify" it, and pump it into holding tanks. From there, a water truck would fill up, and drive around the base filling up all the tanks that provided the shower trailers with the water we needed for the showers and sinks. Now, I can't tell you exactly how clean it was, but you could drink it if you had to. It was periodically tested by the battalion doctor to make sure it was clean.
Let me reiterate that: someone who's profession is to care for injured troops was responsible for the water's purity.
Meanwhile, there are KBR and Halliburton employees making at minimum $80,000 a year who's sole purpose is the purity of water, and the water in their charge is full of malaria? What the fuck is that all about? How does that fucking company even have it's contract still?

As far as the chow halls are concerned: Yes, ideally they would be open 24/7 so as to reduce the amount of troops near it at any given time, but the fact of the matter is that the troops operate on your standard 16-hour day, so their meals would be at the regular times. However, proper measures should be taken to fortify the chow halls against mortar attacks. Texas barriers, sand bags on the roof and an enclosed space for the line should be there.

At the base that I was at, our chow hall was very well protected against mortars with said precautions.

Laundry: I can't offer much on that subject because the service we has was superb. I could turn in a set of cammies that was crispy and literally stiff from dried up sweat from two week's use, and in three days I would have them back as soft as new.

Is that really all you've got to say, MG?

These assholes are physically injuring troops through negligence and purposely bankrupting our country for private gain, and you're just gonna mention how it sucked that you had to shit in plastic bags?

They are private corporations that are stealing our money and doing it right in front of us because they don't think we can do anything. Maybe replace 'Haliburton' and 'KBR' with 'McDonalds' and 'KFC', or 'Ford' and 'GM', if that puts it in perspective.

Sorry, just thought maybe you'd be more upset.

9/11 Demolitions

Goofball_Jones says...

"Haliburton, KBR, Boeing, and all of the war profiteers are doing quite well, thank you."

Ah, so they're behind the attacks too are they? Tie in the Cubans and the Mafia and you've got yourself an Oliver Stone movie!

9/11 Demolitions

rougy says...

"Lets say that it was done by Bush. Why? What did he gain from it? He put us in a war that's going horribly...."

For whom? Haliburton, KBR, Boeing, and all of the war profiteers are doing quite well, thank you.

"If you mean destroying evidence, I believe that the structures of the planes were unlikely to survive the collapse of buildings of this height and magnitude."

I mean, that the buildings were more than capable of withstanding the alledged "pancake effect."

When mass falls and encounters more mass, it slows, it does not accelerate; we witnessed an accelleration in all three towers.

WTC7 has still not been explained. It was not hit by a plane, nor was it significantly damaged, yet it fell in a matter of seconds down upon itself.

It's no use. 9/11 was an inside job.

Nothing will change your mind, and I really don't give a fuck any more.

If you are my countrymen, I want a new country.

MSNBC Uncovers Skull and Bones Society

Farhad2000 says...

Constitutional_Patriot : This video has been posted before on this website before it vanished off Youtube, most people actually know about this already. Even then, the American people don't really seem to care about Skull & Bones because it's always been explained away as some kind of frat house in Yale by the media, and paid attention to as much as the collusion between big oil, Enron, KBR, Haliburton with the administration which is a far bigger issue in my view.

Rotty : You are nothing but a militaristic chicken hawk who trolls this website making incendiary comments that have no basis in reality or logic. You are the one that requires serious reprogramming.

Near? It's already there.

The definition of Fascism is; radical political ideology that combines elements of corporatism, authoritarianism, nationalism, militarism, anti-anarchism, anti-communism and anti-liberalism. A philosophy or system of government that is marked by stringent social and economic control, a strong, centralized government usually headed by a dictator, and often a policy of belligerent nationalism.

Patriot Act, Wire Taps, Tax cuts to the rich, pork barrell politics, KBR and Haliburton, Exxon, Mobile, BP and other oil companies... belligerent nationalism... neo-con?

Convoy in Iraq that made a wrong turn and got ambushed

joedirt says...

this is graphic and *nsfw but hardly snuff. These poor men died in Iraq providing contractor support for our military. To turn a blind eye to their deaths and sacrifices (made in vain to profit KBR)... well, it's current events and newsworthy. Stuff kids should be required to watch in school. Not hidden away like some naughty deviant purient filth.

Bear witness to people that continue to die everyday we are in Iraq. *save all our young men from senseless war.

Convoy in Iraq that made a wrong turn and got ambushed

Farhad2000 says...

I hope Theo is being sarcastic.

Whats funny is that most KBR and Haliburton guys get paid more then regular soldiers. Private contractors dont have the same firepower or coverage as the army.

joedirt says...

Damn.. sucks to get injured on a Halliburton/KBR job. No sick leave. You're fired. I'll bet the families of the other drivers didn't see any money. I'll bet he had to pay for the flight home.
