The Slingshot Man

Michelle Bachmann "That's not what I said It's urban legend"

Asmo says...

Colmes: This is what you said...
Bachman: No it wasn't.
Colmes: Err, we have video tape... On my website...
Bachman: No you don't.
Colmes: Yes we do. I can play it if you wish.
Bachman: No you can't. /wiggles fingers and concentrates
Colmes: You know the Jedi mind trick is from a fictonal movie...
Bachman: ... ... No it's not... <.<
I'm not sure what amazes me more, the fact that she tried to do that or the fact that enough morons will believe her so that she never gets taken to task over it beyond the occasional reporter with at least half an ounce of integrity bringing it up.

How to Deal with Cops Attempting to Search Your Vehicle

Fade says...

General rule of thumb. If a cop isn't getting their way, they will raise their voice and behave aggresively towards you. The specific intent being to provoke a reaction from you thus giving them probable cause.

The Jedi mind trick is to remain calm and collected,do not reflect their aggression.

Yeah, it's no big rush. Getting a diamond means you're already a Jedi, so what more could you ask for than that?

And actually lucky already has a channel: Asia. But hey, you've only been here for almost two years, so you're still learning your way around.

No, I haven't heard. I figure they'll get around to it, since Lucky should be making a channel for himself, also. As you know, it's a long stretch of dead road between 250 and 1000, so I'm not in a hurry.

In reply to this comment by kronosposeidon:
Any word on your Wheels channel? There's a little more pressure on them now for results, because Netrunner is also eligible for a channel now.

Use a Jedi mind trick on them. Give 'em the Force Stare. The Force SERIOUS Stare.

NordlichReiter says...

Obama Responds to Hillary's Veep Offer

Tofumar says...

"Is Hillary attempting to use some kind of Jedi mind trick to get herself a VP spot in the Obama administration? Or is she just delusional? Or both?"

No, what she's hoping is that people will think that they can vote for her and still get him. That is, she's trying to offer a subtle "2 for the price of 1" deal on their candidacies. It's clever, and I worry it may work.

Life at Microsoft

Krupo says...

oooh, the blue monster shirt!

"No, you cannot buy the moon." *geek *comedy!

And a bit of *actionpack too.

She's a "giver"... nice. Yay *parody too. I wonder what would happen if they taught jedi mind tricks to their Indian staff.

Oh, that's a hilarious video concept in itself.

I always wondered what would happen if you tried to Google something at Microsoft. Now I know.

Somebody has WAY too many Star Wars toys/time on hands!
