Arnold Schwarzenegger Has A Blunt Message For Nazis

bobknight33 says...

Trump did condemn, unlike Arnold's dad.

Truth and facts but left out that his dad was a Nazi.

His dad decided not to beat the loud and angry voices of the Nazi with louder more reasonable voices. His dad just joined them.

Military career[edit]
Schwarzenegger had served in the Austrian Army from 1930 to 1937, achieving the rank of section commander and in 1937 he became a police officer. After enlisting in the Wehrmacht in November 1939, he was a Hauptfeldwebel (Master Sergeant) of the Feldgendarmerie, which were military police units. He served in Poland, France, Belgium, Ukraine, Lithuania and Russia. His unit was Feldgendarmerie-Abteilung 521 (mot.), which was part of Panzer Group 4. Wounded in action in Russia on 22 August 1942, he had the Iron Cross First and Second Classes for bravery, the Eastern Front Medal or the Wound Badge. Schwarzenegger appears to have received much medical attention. Initially, he was treated in the military hospital in Łódź, but according to the records he also suffered recurring bouts of malaria, which led to his discharge in February, 1944.

Finally, Sean Spicer's Credibility Being Questioned Openly

Nice sketch I hadn't seen that one before. But skulls really don't have the same meaning today that they had back then. Cover yourself in iron crosses and skulls these days and people will ask you what metal band you play for.

And then we have an organization known the world over for it's good works and what's their symbol? A dying man nailed to a cross, I swear it sounds like something out of Game of Thrones.

Sorry, I have zero sympathy for Spicer.

At some point, you have to ask yourself why you have skulls on your caps.

On that note, I think a rat's anus is an appropriate symbol for Trump.

Tattoo Removal - Dr. Tatoff

Mojofreem says...

From their discussion, it seems like he was planning to only remove portions that he no longer found aesthetically pleasing. The skull, inverted pentagram, and iron cross seemed to be obvious iconography that one might "outgrow". I'm not sure what was removed on the upper right portion on the woman's face. My guess is that he still enjoys the body art in general, but wanted to clean it up a bit into something that better reflects his current taste.

The doctor (technician?) mentioned about 3 more treatments for the shading, which seems rather short to me. I've had friends and relatives that have needed 10+ treatments and still have faint shading. Since she also mentioned covering up, I'm assuming he intends to get further work done to replace what was removed, and therefore doesn't need to completely obliterate the underlying shading.

Cross Of Iron - Intro

Farhad2000 says...

Best anti-war movie? I'd say so.

The lyrics to the famous 'Kinderlied' which is played over the montage at the beginning of the movie are, in German: Hänschen klein Geht allein In die weite Welt hinein. Stock und Hut Steht im gut, Ist gar wohlgemut. [first verse]

Which, translated, means: Little John He has gone Out to see the world alone Staff and hat, Look at that, He's one happy cat. But his mommy cries a lot Now she has no Johnny got. Fortune find, But you mind, Come back to your kind. Seven years, Joy and tears, John in many lands appears. Then he thought That he ought To go home and got - But now he's no Johnny small, No, he is now big John tall. Tall and tanned, Face and hand. Will they know this man? One, two, three Pass and see, Don't know who this man might be. Even Sis: "Who is this?" Knows not who he is. Then along comes mother dear, Barely sees his eyes so clear, Says: "My son, Welcome home, God bless you my son." [all verses]

Ah, the anxiety induced by a catastrophic world made up entirely of back-stabbers.

Colonel Brandt: What will we do when we have lost the war?
Captain Kiesel: Prepare for the next one.

Kern: Do you believe in God, Sergeant?
Sargeant Steiner: I believe God is a sadist, but probably doesn't even know it.

Captain Stransky: I will show you how a true Prussian officer fights.
Sargeant Steiner: Then I will show you, where the Iron Crosses grow.
