political think tanks which specialize in propaganda.

so,nothing to do with JEW @Taint but everything to do with manipulated information presented by an apologist wishing only to skew the opinion of those wishing to understand a very complicated situation.

that is the reason to discount his opinion, not the fact he is a jew.

Cliven Bundy Shares Some Peculiar Views

Yogi says...

Apparently you can't read. They sent Armed Men, after trying to get him to pay several times and after he threatened them with his guns. Maybe you missed that but when Bundy says he and his wife have guns and they're going to "do what needs to be done" they're not talking about Gardening.

Bundy no matter that he's a racist has acted improperly. He is Stealing food for his cattle, even Glen Beck has people paying him Grazing fees for his land. Also the fact that he hasn't paid taxes in 20 years.

He hasn't paid taxes yet still benefits from the government, most specifically there would be NOTHING in Nevada if it wasn't for Big Government Projects like say the Freeway system or The Hoover Fucking Dam.

These Militias certainly aren't in the right, hell they planned to put women and children in front of them so the government would shoot them first. Mighty brave, I think Al Queada uses the same tactic. They're not crazy, maybe a little off, but they're certainly not right about this.

The government isn't assfucking people by protecting land and charging for grazing. It's perfectly reasonable, otherwise you can be the first asshole to start dumping oil all over Yellowstone National Park.

Marching in lock-step to your demise, child. Your comments on this matter read like a dutiful slave to your own oblivion.

One of the things no one has even cared to mention about this event is that the federal government, enforcing a civil affair (non-payment of grazing fees) sent armed swat teams to enforce the matter. The citizens of the United States who chose to show up in support of Bundy (a dumb-ass for the shit he's said of late, that the media has completely used to distract the putties with racism being an opportunistic side-issue in this entire debacle), who did so with guns as well-were within their rights to do so, breaking no laws. For this, they are called all manner of names and labeled as agitants, crazies, etc., by people without a clue as to how they are being ass-fucked.

The media, an arm of the state's machine, focuses upon this and continually pumps their brand of newsspeak, loaded language (like newtboy here repeats and foments to his own audience of parrots), and in doing so guides the story in a direction that further ignores facts while blatantly promoting the further erosion of individual rights under the constitution in favor of bigger, stronger, more restrictive government.

We are going to see more and more of this in the coming decade, as well as more people who favor the cozy protection of government control over individual responsibilities and accountability.

Is there some private security finishing school for douche bags that keeps all these NY-cheap-suit-renter versions looking and acting pretty-much the same?

George W. On PRISM

I do have some anger issues-The crux of that issue perhaps possibly, my perception that I might be living in an era of mass-hypnotism of the planet's inhabitants through technologies envisioned originally to afford power now hi-jacked (and historically so) by charlatans posing as world leaders?

Another obvious turd lodged in my craw? How about a social-evolutionary path akin to Bradbury's "Fahrenheit" or Orwell's "84" turning an entire continent of what formerly consisted of self-determined, practical, and classically educated hard-working sorts into a cast of extras from "Idiocracy?"

Yeah, it pisses me off that so many people are distracted by what they are being told about some illusory process in which the common citizen might take part to imagine some bright future for mankind falling somewhere between the golden rule and the code of Hammurabi. The planet is being hi-jacked by a new breed of criminals frighteningly similar to the most egregious of old-For everything there is a season my friend, Solomon's wisdom in Ecclesiastes 3 it just as pertinent today as it will be for humans for the next 10,000 years-"a time to kill and heal, a time to break down, and a time to build up."

I'd like to imagine the new-construction-upon-the-ashes to include projects both organic and nano-technological in nature with the transformation of our specie's bodies, minds, souls and spirits as a prime objective.

You are living in these wonderful and frightening times, consider this incarnation your most favorable having been born when, where, how, why, and what you are-You are an amazing collection of cellular consciousness manifest in the wonder of flesh.
It's pretty fucking cool actually, and these are the ideas upon which I try to meditate upon every waking hour.

Oh yeah, and I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore, Hail Satan, Hail Eris, Jesus Saves.

(BTW, to answer your inquiry as to the "knowledge" that administrations keep in the dirty-little-secrets folder? Do you really have to ask about need-to-know information that would end the lives of yourself and everyone you know, because that's what the United States can do for you alla-Hoover, alla-Bush, alla-New World Order Über Alles.
What you think you know you don't, and you can't form an opinion or come to a conclusion on a subject for which you have incomplete data with which to arrive at those opinions or conclusions. Simple deductive reasoning or even a pragmatic model of the scientific method should make this screamingly clear to anyone who distrusts the anemically hostile Babylonian system .

I could indulge you and respond but, to be frank, there is no point. I would simply state the obvious; you are a seriously angry person. Seek some anger management before you have a breakdown.

On Edward Snowden (Blog Entry by dag)

Farhad2000 says...

My major problem with it is that the government/NSA claimed it disrupted terror plots because of it's surveillance. Am sorry but I call bullshit on that. Terror groups are aware of this kind of activity and wouldn't go planning anything. Human intelligence is still the best way of tackling this.

From my perspective this is just J. Edgar Hoover communist witch hunt excuses to basically keep taps on everyone Brave New World style.

"We were nearing the end of the dive and were next to a fairly shallow pinnacle when a huge set of waves rolled overhead. John was too far inside next to the rocks to avoid the rush of water as the swell created a huge vacuum sucking him up and over the rocks. The resulting flow deposited him unharmed in a large 90ft deep basin slightly north of our position. Next time I saw him was on the boat some 10 minutes later. Thought he was a goner..."

Understanding the National Debt and Budget Deficit

BansheeX says...

All I'm going to say is that this guy is completely wrong about the gold standard. This country was on gold for like 150 years and didn't collapse in an "inescapable deflationary spiral". That is nonsense trotted out by big government economist. In fact, the highest rates of GDP growth still remain gold standard years. The only reason the crash of 29 existed was because of the central bank's (which didn't exist prior to 1913) inflationary bubble in the 20s, which HAD to be corrected. And rather than letting it correct, Hoover and FDR resisted and intervened mightily. All prior recessions were allowed to run their course, this one wasn't. I mean, for god's sake, FDR was slaughtering livestock to prevent food prices from falling alongside wages. Is it any wonder the damn thing persisted for like 15 years?

Obama On The Tax Plan

MonkeySpank says...

As much as I would like to agree with you that the government doesn't feel sorry for spending tax money; we have been led to believe that tax breaks and loopholes for the rich specifically, did not and will create more jobs. After 11 years of practice, this proved to be a fruitless that only benefited the upper echelon. You want an example? Take Romney's money in Switzerland and The Cayman Island for example. I am sure he has the right to do with his money whatever he wants, but a show of good faith would be to invest that money back into the economy (tickle-down) instead of parking it overseas. That, I have a HUGE problem with.

I would be taxed more under a re-elected Obama, and I don't mind that because of the greater good. Today, he is the lesser of two evils. I would vote for Romney if he actually believed what he said, but his actions and his words don't go together - see previous paragraph.

It would be dishonest for anyone to think that lowering taxes alone, or cutting the deficit alone would stop the hemorrhaging.

>> ^quantumushroom:

When tax rates are lowered, government revenue increases.
When tax rates are raised, the wealthy scapegoats remove monies from the system, either by parking them in things like tax-exempt bonds or investing in countries with lower tax rates.
However Obama tries to explain away what we on the right have known and have empirical evidence to back it up, his results have been negative. Such failure should not be rewarded by punishing the rest of us with 4 more years of this rubbish!

Zero Punctuation: Borderlands 2

Jinx says...

>> ^00Scud00:

Not thinking too hard is key for this one, like not thinking about how futile it must be to kill someone and then have them just re-spawn again. Hyperion even runs the network that allows this to happen, and Jack never once seems to consider wandering into the server room and just quietly erasing your latest backup so that the next time you die it's permanent.
>> ^Jinx:
He's right on exactly everything...but I still kind of like the game. It expanded on the only thing people gave a fuck about in the original - guns. Its not a complex game and its pretty shallow but I still find it enjoyable if I don't think too hard...much like watching a crappy action movie with friends.

I didnt think of that...probably because I wasn't thinking. But hey, there is a quest at one point where Jack actually asks you to kill yourself. Like you throw yourself off a cliff, respawn and collect the reward from Jack. Lets just assume that all Hyperion cares about is profits. Killing me permanently would close off a potential revenue stream from that guy that hoovers cash out of toilets.
