Fox Business - European Economy Hurt by Secularism?
>> ^RadHazG:
I'd say more like it just beat out the horror film genre for scariest show of all time. Because this is "real" and there are millions upon millions of Americans out there who not only believe this stuff, they eat it up. And act on it. And vote with it.
Yes, you're right. But as an European I still have the luxury of considering this sort of thing funny(in a homevideo-punch-in-the-balls kinda way).
Google Chrome (Google attempts a browser) (Blog Entry by BicycleRepairMan)
I have not had a single issue with this browser. I love it. The incognito mod is great for surfing "secret" sites and watching blankfist's homevideos on redtube.
Avast Ye Land Lubers, CaptWillard Finds Buried Gold! (Sift Talk Post)
It's funny that everyone thinks my user name refers to a seafaring captain, when it actually refers to this Army captain from "Apocalypse Now". But if you all want to think of me as a pirate, that's fine.
So where's the booty around here? (Not a pun, but a ribald double-entendre, n'est-ce pas?)
GooTube categories (Sift Talk Post)
My take is that VS focuses on slightly different interests than John Q. Public and Joe Sixpack. Notice most news and TV recap shows are about Celebrities, Movies, TV, and Sports (and local news and weather).
It is interesting that sports and autos have been neglected here, as well as movies / entertainment. But that could also be the nature of the internet, where from the begining of time, the internet was distribution of movie trailers and entertainment clips. They are the static / noise in the video arena.
I find it interesting the "extra" categories VideoSift has hit upon, and also the lack of News and HomeVideo, but that mostly falls under Viral. I'm guessing most Colbert and TDS would be "news" if not purely funny skits. So, as far as collectives goes, here's some good research on opportunities.
