The 6'8" figure the announcer gave was for Hogan, vs. 7' 4" for Andre.

I would normally expect guys 6'6" and over to be more gangly, like Tim Silvia (image), but Hogan has a very thick build.

This show was created by Harvey Bullock, who was a principal writer for others shows such as Love American Style, The Love Boat, Andy Griffith Show, and Hogan's Heroes, to name just a few.

Front chin lock? That looks like a variation of what is more commonly known as a guillotine choke, one of the few submissions that can be locked in and finished from a standing position with a high degree of success. (If my memory doesn't fail me, it's also the most common finish in MMA fights. Weird that the Hulk locked it in by grabbing his forearm, it's usually done by locking hands with a Gable grip or grabbing the bicep of the other arm.

God love Steve Irwin, but I am not sure that any entertainer in short pants should get a state funeral. But if it is a state funeral featuring friends and colleagues handling snakes and wrestling treacherous beasts, then I am all for it.

I think Paul Hogan was my first exposure to Australia. I still think Australians are exactly like that.

heh, well it was in the queue for 5 days. The hogan video still has a good 3 days before it gets canned, so you never know... i just threw it might vote. We are trying to look at ways to get more users to visit the queue, it seems to be a part of the site that gets overlooked. At any rate this video got my vote because I absolutely despise those magnets, Walmart sells the support our troops one, and the troops don't even get any money.
