There have been a few cases already where members have in good faith supplied the wrong embed code and the original submitter has called them on it. I think without the 2 day grace, this could potentially increase - and create ... disharmony. "get your hands off my post" type stuff.

I wasn't suggesting making an exception, but rather changing the rule. I understand what you're saying, but I think the logic is flawed. Whoever fixes it can potentially get the wrong one, including the owner (certainly less likely for someone with 20 or so posts, but quite possible for someone with 100s). I think you have to rely on the community to do what's right, i.e., if you're not 100% sure, don't fix it. If we don't, then I don't really see a 2 day delay helping that much.

Why??? As you said, it's easily recognizable, and having watched it several times myself, quickly found a replacement. I wanted to fix it immediately, not to get a point (I wouldn't have anyway - already got one today), but to restore a great video as soon as possible. Snaremop has had no activity in 2 months. I seriously doubt he's going to fix this before it hits the dead pool. Please explain the rationale for the delay.

hey - had to dead this, but thankfully found a replacement.

Had to modify tags to make it appear on a search for "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger".

This video is still awesome after the 20th time of watching it. I think this has real staying power.
