Police Ticket Children Over Curfew to Keep Them Safe
Sooooooooooooooo, the question is this---is there a 'too late' for children to be out at? And what should be the punishment for being out, if there is a reasonable time? And if not, then who is to blame when a child is brutally assaulted? The victims--for their deliberate part in the offense? The criminal (Of course!) The parents (Some do not know their children 'sneak' out, hence, 'sneak,') or the police officer who ignores the child and/or never punishes them, to correct their behaivor?
I am a libertarian, so I say hands off. And so I say never send a kid to jail for this. However, if kids make decisions, only they should be held accountable...But then, what decisions did we make at 11, 12, 13, etc? Decisions that would lead us to pregnancies, drugs, social problems (Playing too many video games, for example,) obesity, etc…
A hard ticket to follow, however, since the state, county, or whatever says 'This law is final,' well, that law is final.
The most awesomest action scene ever
Hrmm. I could have sworn this was here before. Anyway, the film is Hard Ticket to Hawaii, which is an Andy Sidaris film classic.
Deliciously bad: Skateboard death in Hawaii
And the name of the movie is Hard Ticket to Hawaii.A poster for the fine move
From IMDB: Two drug enforcement agents are killed on a private Hawaiian island. Donna and Taryn, two operatives for The Agency, accidentally intercept a delivery of diamonds intended for drug lord Seth Romero, who takes exception and tries to get them back. Soon other Agency operatives get involved, and a full-scale fight to the finish ensues, complicated here and there by an escaped snake made deadly by Toxic Waste!
