Monsanto Prevails in U.S. Supreme Court

chingalera says...

Unfortunately for mankind, the past few generations and the current one are being groomed as complete dysfunctional morons so there's a very slim chance that anything will stop the process of creating a Codex Alimentarius the likes of which will put evil men in control of what goes into all mankind's bodies.

It's by design to make all humanity into an unthinking, automatomatious slave-class with no will or mind of their own until the planet has been thoroughly and completely controlled.

Denial is the most predictable of all human responses. But, rest assured, this will be the one-hundred and sixty-sixth time we have destroyed it, and we have become exceedingly efficient at it.

GoPro Pimping: Where's the camera?

maatc says...

As we can see in the Michael Schumacher case: wearing a helmet does not necessarily protect you from a bad injury, but can make a big difference in life or death accident-scenarios

He fell at slow speed right next to the groomed track, his head hit a rock and the impact broke his helmet. No indication of "reckless behaviour" at all there, just the worst possible place to fall at. He would be dead had he not worn one.

Regarding the helmet/death statistics.. I'd be interested to see what percentage of deaths are from people wearing helmets.

It doesn't matter if 70% of people are wearing helmets if the 30% who aren't are the ones doing potentially fatal activities. A family who ski/ride once a year and wear helmets on green runs are probably not going to die, but that 14 year old who's going for it in the half-pipe every chance s/he gets is at a higher risk.

I snowboard pretty regularly myself and these days I tend to stick with back/side country. I've pretty much always worn a helmet, but I used to see a lot of young guys in the park hitting decent sized jumps/rails without one.

Homeless Veteran Timelapse Transformation

chingalera says...

True enough regarding peeps wanting that "feel-good" response continually-Superficial adjustments anchored in emotion are short-lived.
To address ant's question, one's outer world (physical presentation, expression, habits, interests, etc.) manifests as a window into one's inner world -A dishevled appearance reflects internal conflict, chaos. The steps taken to adjust by creating one or several new habits (grooming, healthy diet, etc.), while at the same time discarding deleterious habits (addictions, shit-think, harmful associations), will alter a human forever. The hardest thing for this man to deal with are his routines that brought him to this point of rescue. Adjusting them radically at this stage in the spiral may be the jolt needed.

Definitely, he'd benefit greatly from he support of others who have made similar journeys.

30 days is enough to meta-program oneself-A good general rule of thumb: While trying to adjust or discard actions, attitudes, habits, etc., is to simultaneously adopt a completely new beneficial daily action or exercise to accompany the elimination of another.

He'd be completely hirable with a 10 dollar haircut at cost cutters, a dress shirt and some slacks.

The fanfare, expense and emphasis on the physical aspect of his transformation over to the lip service his real challenging journey gets, is some gross combination of a marketing ploy and the worst aspects of our society's desire for cute feel good stories and absolutely zero depth, realism or true compassion.

Bride texts during wedding ceremony

The look on the groom's doomed face in the thumbnail should be activating that inner script....and his spirit of volunteerism and self-preservation when the good reverend asks, "If there be present anyone here who does not believe that these two should be...."

Gordon Ramsay - How to slice a pepper

chingalera says...

With his method, the seeds and septum are easily eviscerated w/o precision grooming. The small amount of flesh you lose in minimal. That top part with the stem is of so little consequence and what you lose has little flavor. I've never trimmed a pepper this way, I always half it, and trim the seeds and septum after.

Ramseys' no speed-freak......always thought he was a self-medicating bi-polar-OR, he could be one of those cats high on life's, WTF's...either, other, he's one wound-tight control-freak!

CreamK said:

I prefer the usual way, i get to use the whole edible part of it. With Ramsays method, you are not using the part under your finger (top? bottom? opposite the stump? not native english so don't know what that part is called.) I just cut around the "stump", no seeds and the whole vegetable is used.

In Rare Interview, Assad Hints of Retaliation Against U.S.

chingalera says...

My god the man's skull....
Ok so, before anyone starts riding Bashar Assad's cock, please do a bit of research on this mealy-mouthed worm, he's a real piece-a-work. Groomed to retain power, fast-tracked military appointments and commendations yadda-yadda, a crew of spin-doctors around him for several years leading-up to his "popular" support he continually blathers-on about in the full interview.

Mankind oh-ye, piity all Syrians.

He didn't gain this so-called, popular support through any means other than intimidation, fear, and mind-control and the pressure to rise to the situation his ailing father no-doubt drilled-into him day and night.

Let's talk about Syria (Politics Talk Post)

All for amping-up the civil disobedience phase of a revolution before more social meltdown and a slow, ugly decline. Larry Wilkerson's perspective seems the most palatable though, unlikely. Arms embargoes, diplomacy and discussions about details of scenarios that have already been set into motion won't change the push forward into that direction I suspect.
The best form of civil and economic disobedience peeps can flex is through collective boycott/embargo/non-participation in failed or toxic systems. Stop watching television firstly and groom a thinking generation off the teat of their programming. Change the shit-think and the obvious answers appear. Welcome to planet earth it's a dangerous place, don't panic.

Absence of topless beaches in the U.S.
Our often obsessive pre-occupation with germs and the west's plethoric use of "products" for grooming
Kissing anyone besides a lover on the mouth
Leaving home at 18 to "live on one's own" (unlike Americans, family units enjoy an enduring and innate cohesion-Most other cultures also have a healthy respect and prominent place for their seniors that the west has forgotten as well)
Halloween (the U.S. is the only country that celebrates this like Americans do)

Displacement from ship is causing damage

Opus_Moderandi says...

Honestly, I can't feel bad for people with boats and waterfront property. I know it sounds callous but, I have more concern for the wildlife than I do for damage to peoples $25,000+ leisure vehicles and meticulously groomed lawns. This seems like Rich People Problems. Then again, this is a low income person speaking...
