That defeats the whole purpose.

The point of writers sticking together, and why the strike will probably hold, is because writers tend to be pretty smart people, and pretty smart people realize that they are stronger together than they are apart.

This is very basic stuff. It's about fairness. The writers are not being greedy here.

This is very similar to how "Gilligan's Island" turned into this huge rerun success, but the actors got screwed out of a lot of royalties because at the time of the original filming, there basically was no such thing as a rerun.

I <3 Edward James Olmos. He makes the show in spite of crappy Starbuck "revisioning" trying to destroy the show from the inside. I think she has to be a Cylon because of how horrible and distracting she is from a good show and good acting.
