No the stuff at the end is not CG. There are a few layers of effects. The bubbles are airbrushed, each on their own cel so that they overlap organically (the transulcent paint increases opacity with layers). The rainbow looks hand animated to me. The glowing sparks that look like CG particle systems are hand-animated backlit gels. The jeans are stop motion animated and then hand-masked if not blue-screened (which would require using white or black jeans and then re-tinting them).

^these are all guesses, but there is no CG I can tell ya that!

Ok I found this very very interesting and a bit dubious. So I went on a little mini mission - what I was most interested in was the birth day of Horus, which I could not find.

What I did find was this rebuttal (and a few others closely modelled after it)

So what I became interested in was this statement:
"Horus’ mother was not a virgin. She was married to Osiris, and there is no reason to suppose she was abstinent after marriage. Horus was, per the story, miraculously conceived. I went to what is probably only one of MANY versions of the Horus story, the famed "Book of the dead"

And of Horus' conception it reads:
"[Isis] sought him untiringly, she wandered round and round about this earth in sorrow, and she alighted not without finding him. She made light with her feathers, she created air with her wings, and she uttered the death wail for her brother. Which sounds like an immaculate birth to me.

What I haven't done - is look through the rest of the document to find out if it mentions Isis having sex. And if it does, then I need to find out if the Book of the Dead is an amalgam of older fables (which I suspect it is). And if it is, does one of these fables, in its discrete form, portray Isis as a virgin? thereby proving there was a view/tale which pronounced the Sun-god of a virgins birth.

And if it does, the same treatment should be given to the rest of the claimed parrallels.


It seems to me that allot of the rebuttals (though im sure they dont claim to do this) find one, or even multiple accounts that do NOT gel with the tale of Jesus.

I'd like to go through the sources on by one, I wouldn't be surprised if some/most are not legitimate. But the fact that the book of the Dead can be INTERPRETED as correlating with one keystone aspect of the birth of Jesus makes me mildly interested. Im sure its way less water tight than portrayed, the entire religion debate would be totally moot if it was that easy.

Start altering laws, reducing personal freedoms, reducing the right to protest, making people feel isolated from their neighbours because of ethnic differences, extreme nationalism.

And then finally go to war:

-Nazi's, annexation of Austria and eventually the invasion of Poland.
-America, Iraq, making hungry eyes at Iran and seems to be balls deep in a plan to get the cold war started again, ironically, in Poland...

Meanwhile, to silent dissent on the home front, use policing forces for clandestine raids in the middle of the night aimed at people with a different political agenda or sympathies that don't gel with the ruling regime...

The only difference between the two is that now the government has a much harder time controlling the media effectively. All the information is profferred for examination and what remains is for people to be righteously outraged at their liberties being stolen away, even though those liberties are supposedly enshrined in the very Constitution your country was built upon.

It remains to be seen if enough American's still remember how to stand up for themselves against what looks, smells and feels like a fascist tyranny...

Her breasts don't look like breasts, they look like silicone bags. It kind of takes the sex appeal off.
Unless bags of liquid gel do something for you.

Awesome. Such economy of animation. I can just see the stacks of hand panted gels. They forgot to put the feather in at 3:28. I think she looked sorta hot and punky with a shaved head actually.

Senator Arlen Specter was on Charlie Rose's show (PBS) last night, and a quick question at the end was about his role in the Warren commission championing the single bullet theory. I had no idea that a still acting senator had such a pivotal role in the still contested aftermath of this event.

As a further aside, there was an Australian show I saw once which did an excellent job of examining how a single bullet could have traveled how it was said to, and replicated the shot with gel dummies positioned exactly how the President and the Governor were sitting before the shot(the rear seats were elevated, a fact I had never known), even using the same style gun and ammo Harvey was found with, from the same distance, etc. It was pretty convincing. The head wound with ballistic gel dummy, if I recall correctly, did rock forward with the hit and then backwards in recoil, but it wasn't so much discussed.
