I wish she had used some real numbers, say it's 2030 and the debt is 26 trillion, and you are starting to get some huge deficits to pay for social security. Keep borrowing and by 2050 pay 50% of your budget in interest payments? Start printing money and by 2050 have an inflation rate of 8%? If the gov't needs to run continual deficits, why not just keep a balanced budget then drop cash out of helicopters on the 4th of July? Same money added to the system.

Really disappointed she didn't mention the Federal Reserve. Why is the US paying interest to a private entity that creates money out of thin air? Are they more credit worthy than a government that can also create money out of thin air?

IMHO Revelations is easily the least spiritual book of the bible, but here's the passage for those who can't stand the bible:

QM, there is a division of physics, called "health physics" that deals with using different types of radiation to treat disease, and the effects of different types of radiation on the human body.
So, technically speaking, what Ann is saying is true. Exposure to radiation can be helpful as well as harmful.
The flaw in her reasoning (and I don't for a second think she is making a sincere argument) is that "radiation" can be a million different things, across the EM spectrum, and also the emissions of ions and atoms. "Helpful" radiation only describes very specific types, used at very specific intensity, used for very specific durations, etc.
Bill O's geriatric, uneducated audience can't grasp that nuance, and will undoubtedly think that standing in front of Chernobyl will get rid of arthritis.

Not exactly announcing THE DEBATE IS OVER like the hoaxers pushing man-made global warming hysteria.

I would assume that shiny represents himself truthfully in his comments, and from that we can draw quite a few conclusions.

He may give candy to orphans or be an axewielding mass murderer, but that doesn't change the fact that through his comments we get insight into his mind - and from what he has put forth, and certainly the tone and presentation of it, I am less than impressed.

I would argue that there is more hatred streaming from his comments than from the comments mocking him and his beliefs... after all, we don't tell him that he will burn in hell for ever and ever unless he buys charter or gives to charity, or support the republican party. We just point and laugh.

Opinions that are wrong deserve enlightenment and help, but when they are presented as they have been here, they deserve scorn.

Religion strikes so much to the base of a person, his morals, that you learn a lot from a comment. Some devout christians and spiritual people are genuinely nice and good while others are genuinely bad. So far, I've not seen much evidence presented here that puts shiny in the first category.
