Indeed. He definitely has/had some issues, but it certainly led to a great narrative! And I love how down they get on creepy Jeffery Ross and his subliminal manipulation techniques. It's funny that that subculture exists and how passionate they are about it.

The book also shows how unstable he is. Hes a titty baby.
I do think the whole seduction society is pretty interesting. it's obviously working.

I met the ever flamboyant Mystery at a club in LA once, as well as some of his crew including a couple of season 1 contestants. He actually seemed like a pretty cool guy and was quite gracious when I "opened his set" (talked to him). Also, Neil Strauss's book The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists which is pretty much all about Neil's life as Mystery's wingman was an absolutely fascinating read.

Bruno on Conan
He plays his characters so well. I've known a many flamboyant men who act the EXACT same way. Seriously, the attention whore aspect is a perfect part of the character.
Rachel Maddow 4/9/09 - Teabagging Washington
I know the GOP is trying to catch up on the whole gay marriage thing, but having flamboyant teabagging parties is really going beyond the call of duty.

agreed, Miyavis other work doesn't appeal to me as much, but this album is definitely a jewel.

Thanks for the promote

I generally hate Visual-kei (the type of artists who dress up flamboyantly, do weird stuff with their hair like that, etc), but that guy is a hell of a guitar player. His voice doesn't settle as well with me as his guitaring, but that stuff's still cool enough to get upvoted without a second thought.

Videosift not on Wired's list of best video aggregators? (News Talk Post)

^"good thing there's no flamboyant publicity about videosift.
don't let happen to the sift what happened to /b/
(from its users point of you, of course. for new comers everything is always fine)"
Excellent point, as an outsider looking in, it is easy to spot the high-colonic needed, to eliminate or or otherwise dispel, the ever-increasing, douche, dweeb, and dingleberry element, from this playground of nobel beginnings-Some folks simply need to post video content, and shut the fuck up.
Rules??
Rules and decisions by majority vote, should send this place into the toilet if some high art does not return or otherwise take over-Voting. What a Concept. For most monkeys who think that their participation in National Elections for example, holds much more than some pseudo-symbolic satisfaction sensation, well...what can be done with damaged goods but to return them to the manufacturer to be repaired or replaced? Oh, suppose one could be satisfied with the defective product....Welcome to Planet Now.

What motivates you to submit a video to VideoSift? (Sift Talk Post)
Even though I'm not obsessive with the meta-game of sifting videos and getting votes it can at times prove compulsive to see something you've found strike a chord with others.
I was very happy with my recent cuttlefish video that I found in a couple of clicks after searching for "flamboyant" on YouTube. That was complete luck.
I see videos mentioned on other sites, in RSS feeds etc and if I like them then I check for a submission on Videosift.
I don't like to submit anything that's humiliating, has violence or is simply to dumb. I have to admit I don't like to be associated with trivial videos - in that sense I suppose I am making a statement about myself. Even if something stood to earn lots of votes I'd pass if it made me feel uncomfortable. And I don't believe I've resorted to a cat video - yet.
I'm quite proud of the Bravo channel that I founded when I got Gold 100. Yes, you could get a channel at that point but that was many moons ago. I've done a few general searches but I've yet to see another site that has a similarly nice collection of quality classical music videos.
YouTube has a millions things on it including most classical content but part of the problem is it's content organisation, quality levels and community. Videosift really lives up to its name in bringing the best videos to the fore.
I do enjoy it when people genuinely like what I've posted - I get more of a buzz out of that than having a high rank. Getting lesser known videos posted is satisfying especially as the classical stuff isn't exactly populist material.
Chris Matthews: Dems Shouldn't Have to Apologize for Winning
I agree with the conservative that if Obama cuts taxes for the rich across the board and starts a pre-emptive war in a sovereign nation without the approval of anybody in the world but England, then he does deserve to have a 22 percent approval rating.
However, I agree whole-heartedly with Matthews that conservatives want to be flamboyantly gay when they win, but when they lose they want their opponents to stay in the closet.
you win (Gay Talk Post)
Just to be clear, I meant nothing insidious with my "I guess homosexuals like to laugh too" remark. I meant it to be sarcastic. In other words, I was saying that homosexuals are people just like everyone else.
Why do I think that video was the third-highest rated video at Dailymotion's gay channel? I don't know, but I'll venture a guess:
The kid danced around energetically and flamboyantly. And NO, I don't use "flamboyant" as a code word for "gay." I mean he did it with panache and joyful abandon, and I THINK the homosexual community appreciates those qualities. This is all just my personal hypothesis, and nothing more.
In any event, there was nothing sinister, devious, insidious, or nefarious about my intentions when I added it to the Gay channel. BTW, if you look at the other videos featured in the All-Time Best-Rated page on Dailymotion's Gay and Lesbian channel, you can easily tell that most of them are overtly homosexual in nature. Therefore I don't think the video I posted ended up in the number three spot there because some gay-bashers at Dailymotion pushed it's ranking so high in an effort to say "Ha ha! This is GAY, you gay-boys!!" I think it got there because it genuinely reflects what homosexual users at Dailymotion find to be very entertaining, and nothing more. That's why I used the Gay tag, to show people at VS a little gay culture so they could learn that it was nothing to fear. In fact I know a few people here are put off by any video tagged "Gay", so it might have done a little better had I left that tag off. But that's neither here nor there now, and I'm not going to lose any sleep over it not having a Gay tag.
I respect where you're coming from berticus, even if we don't see eye to eye on this issue.
Cheeeeeeeeesefest!!! (Dark Talk Post)
>> ^berticus:

Why's this in the gay channel? Christ I give up.
Berticus, the term "gay" has come to mean much much more than just a sexual orientation these days. In our household, we are very rainbow friendly yet we still find ourselves labeling things/people/events as "gay" whenever a certain vibe (which is difficult to describe...let's just say a certain "je ne sais quoi") is flamboyantly present.
I would say that cheese falls into that category.
You're just atheists because y'all want to sin
if atheists want to be a minority group who gains their civil rights in this century, youre going to have to stop public access call in shows hosted by these guys.
noone listens to a flamboyant homosexual, a ganged out mexican, or bra burning man hated feminist and noone is going to listen to baldy mcnerdistein and uncle pedo in his joker hat.
why cant you find a more handsome spokesman?
maybe y'all are just atheist because youre ugly.
