I don't know if the music was in the original recording, but I actually considered not upvoting this very moving eulogy just because of the horribly intrusive, never brought to rest, tones.

just found this clip from Kustendorf music and film festival, which was founded by director Emir Kusturica, which is seen delivering eulogy at the funeral of the movie 'Die Hard 04' at the new founded Bad Movies Cemetery. the clip has english subtitles.

Well, anyone who knew her knows it was a fitting eulogy.

That's not bad, stayed pretty true to the original. Hell of a lot better than what Madonna did to American Pie.

When a mostly-wimpy pop-rock band like Nickelback eulogizes someone from a thrash-metal band in a song ("Side of a Bullet"), you know that the entire musical community recognized what they accomplished. Rest in peace, "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott.

Found it quite stimulating and refreshing upon returning m'self......I love it when I'm accused of being from the right......and been here long enough for a school kid to figure me out.....Three cheers for the lovers of all races, creeds and colors, without regard to imprints, upbringing, limited exposure and indoctro-education.

There's nothing worse than a bad obituary, one like this which completely fails to understand and convey the significance of a life. From the way it was done, I'd guess the most Vonnegut the reporter ever read was the back of a couple of his books. Not to mention the subtle insinuations that Vonnegut was in it for the money/success. I mean, they made it sound like the pinnacle of his career was making a 10-second cameo in a Rodney Dangerfield movie.

One who obviously knows so little about someone else's life has no place eulogizing them and does them a disservice by doing so, though in this case, that was probably what those hacks had in mind. Bastards.
