Fully Functional Lego Sniper Rifle
Duh! I was kinda thinking about the reaction when this shows up fully assembled on an X-ray>> ^heathen:
>> ^nanrod:
OK. Who wants to be first to try and board a plane with this in their carry on?
Would be pretty easy, disassembled, just some Lego bricks and elastic bands.

Space Suit Test Failure - Man Exposed to Total Vacuum
You're not taking into account atmospheric pressure of approximately 14.7 psi (at sea level). Without that pressure pushing against the skin, it would naturally expand somewhat (being elastic) and your blood pressure would drop. Your own link shows that one of the top concerns is ebullism, the formation of bubbles in body fluids due to reduced ambient pressure. That means low blood pressure.
Isn't it Time to Change Member Levels Again? (User Poll by KnivesOut)
Can I fight a Goomba made of razor-wire with nothing but a piece of elastic from my last good pair of underwear in order to receive one giant 50-star-point bonus and make a shiny purple thing show up at the head of my moniker? Or must I settle with continually posting sex tapes starring Lori Petty and Carrot Top in order to achieve a Siftgasm?
Hitler Discovers Republicans Have No Ideas
@NordlichReiter, I'm not made of stone. If you prick my elastic exterior, I do bleed!
BTW, you wanna look at HR 3590 for what passed yesterday (which is the unmodified Senate bill, and will be law when Obama signs it tomorrow), and then also look at HR 4872 for the reconciliation modifications which likely will pass through the Senate this week and become law as well.
Hitler Discovers Republicans Have No Ideas
@NordlichReiter, yes posting anti-Republican videos on a site as ultra-conservative as Videosift is, is just like trolling.
The guy who did this one actually seems to know about conservative ideology, to the point where I suspect this was made by a disheartened former Republican.
They see me trollin' they hatin'!
No sir, I'm a socially liberal fiscally conservative. Also did I tell you I reluctantly supported health care? I thought section 101 of HR 3962, from what I understand, was a step forward. Hey, and Section 258 is another step in the right direction too. But I guess that makes me some sort of disheartened republican that I support a woman's right to abort, and dislike the whole; fucking people over because they have a preexisting condition.
The only part of the bill I disliked was the section 501!
No that only bounces off of you're elastic exterior!
I thought you were referring to me,but I see you were referring the disheartened republican who made the Hitler video, my apologies. I was so taken up in the act of trolling that I got carried away.
Also that user only has one upload, the video here. The account was created March 14 2010, and the given age of the poster is 41. Your assumption could be right!

The problem with belief or lack of belief in the 'theory' of evolution is moot, by using the term theory science already admits that it has not been proven beyond doubt...
Hypothesis
Theory
Law
I'm not sure if this is correct asmo, at least as far as i understand it. You state those 3 like they're the stages of a scientific fact, but that's actually not true.
Firstly, when referring to scientific theory and law, there's no definitive proof for anything which might constitute a fact in the context i used.
Secondly, this ties into the first, the best we have for anything is a law - which describes observations that we have witnessed, or a theory - which is a hypothesis or group of hypotheses which can be tested and shown to be true and tries to explain why something is as we witnessed. The law states that every action has an equal and opposite reaction, the theory tries to explain why.
We can't send stuff to a panel of administrators who put a stamp on a piece of paper and say "Yep, this is now a law, we will not permit the universe to disprove our quantification and understanding of this observation." It's not like some AD&D universe where we can check the back of the book for strict values and procedures. All we can do is spot patterns in nature and try to explain them to the best of our abilities.
I typed a bit more but realised i'm almost quoting this website which i didn't intend to do:
http://chemistry.about.com/od/chemistry101/a/lawtheory.htm
Also see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_law :-
"A law differs from a scientific theory in that it does not posit a mechanism or explanation of phenomena: it is merely a distillation of the results of repeated observation. As such, a law is limited in applicability to circumstances resembling those already observed, and is often found to be false when extrapolated.
Simplified: a law states what we observe, it doesn't try to explain it. It often is found lacking and as such we state boundaries for the law, as below:
Ohm's law only applies to constant currents, Newton's law of universal gravitation only applies in weak gravitational fields, the early laws of aerodynamics such as Bernoulli's principle do not apply in case of compressible flow such as occurs in transonic and supersonic flight, Hooke's law only applies to strain below the elastic limit, etc."

You get what you pay for. Try a few brand names... real ones.
I have. Calvin Klein is the same crap as generic Target underwear, but with fancier graphics and an even thicker waistband.
All they have to do is put 1/10 as many elastic fibers in the waistband, to weaken the elastic by a factor of 10. Why should I have to pay more for less? Likewise for food that is produced without massive amounts of artificial colors/flavors/preservatives.
Exploding/Reassembling Picture Frame
It needs some kind of elastic picture indeed.
Mysterious Broom Proves Existence of God
Dude, science and common sense tells me that you can balance a coin on a flat surface.
It makes sense that something akin to an elastic foundation would confirm to support its load, which is much less weight than its limit.
The bristle base is just large enough to support the inertia and weight of the handle. Only on a flat surface.
Now if it was sticking to the walls, or the ceiling I may be inclined to think something strange is going on. But not paranormal, or supernatural.
The United States, common sense is not so common.
Blankfist roasting on an open fire (Parody Talk Post)
Is that underwear boxer, brief, or birthday?
Boxers. Some of them worn down to nothing more than threads and elastic. My girlfriend actually has to goad me into throwing them away when my balls start peeking out like 'Kilroy Was Here'.
This was the best question. Really brings home that whole atmosphere of you feeding gwiz fondue while he pours you another zinfadel. I'm kind of wondering though, do you have a penis? Because, speaking as a man .. my dick sticks out further than my balls. You're the only guy I know who wears boxers to avoid camel toe.
Extremely Flexible Girl
Has there ever been a porn with an elastic woman like this? Some witty title rework of "Cirque du Soleil"?

My Guess:
Judging by the sound and the spray, I'd say that the bottom of the container went from concave to convex almost instantly due to thermal expansion.
Bravo for an interesting guess. But .... IMHO thats not what happened. There is not elastic force stored in a die cast iron receptical required to be released as a "pop"...and definatley not one that looks at LEAST 10 years old, and is probably way more, and has the same process done a few hundred times.
The expansive force on the concave surface would of slowly lost struct...ok fuck it.
Anyway I think there is a black residue from the last fuck nuts who where trying to make explosive substances for kicks. They never got around to cleaning it/they did not believe they had made anything of worth - and thats why you see some crud before in the corner, and not the instant after.
EDIT: And bravo for his mate for at least clearly instructing the dude to take of his glove.

Everything looks better in ultra-slow-motion
The Jello really seems to defy gravity. I think during the impact with the ground and the rebound it stores elastic energy which is released when its wobbling about at the apex.
