^ I'd say you're way off. This is half the length of the other vid and is focused on one specific subject. That other vid was sifted as part 2 of a whole show and those two vids should be considered one vid imo. But either way, there are many other cases of stuff like this around the sift. If this were a dupe you might as well * dupeof all stand up acts with clips from full shows that have been sifted before.

I see. Thanks for the explanation.

In reply to this comment by gorgonheap:
actually I should have had the tags read "pop punk, rather then "pop, punk" The genre is for bands, (such as new found glory, good charlotte, and brand new) That lost favor in the punk scene but were made successful as pop musicians. The reason being their sound is most closely associated to riffs that are definitively punk, yet the tempo and lyrics are more contemporary then your hardcore and early punk bands.

In reply to this comment by mauz15:
Hmm "better than most" what? most than the other 400 bands that sound pretty much the same? I don't see how. But then again, I stay away from this genre as much as possible.

I just wanted to ask, how is this punk? I dont see the connection.

the tags read "pop punk" not "pop, punk" The genre is for bands, (such as new found glory, good charlotte, and brand new) That lost favor in the punk scene but were made successful as pop musicians. The reason the punk label is that their sound is most closely associated to riffs and power chords that are definitively punk, yet the tempo and lyrics are more contemporary then your hardcore and early punk bands. I think emo is a good tag to add, although the definition of emo has been horribly mis-construed and overused from since it's inception.

In reply to this comment by tehmog:
Punk? I think not, more like EMO which is more and more being labeled as punk. Any boy band can color their hair, pierce their ears, and get tattoos, however at this point it would seem more "punk" not to have any of that done.
