Tricky: Makes Me Wanna Die

finch451 says...

Lol, my first understanding of the title of this post made me think that this would be a video about how the Run DMC song "Tricky" wants to make the author die.

Awesome band and video though.

As you may know Ive created a playlist of many of the dead videos on the sift. As its been there for awhile, and there have been quite a few views of it, very few vids have been fixed or discarded. I thought a list just of yours might be of some help. The list below are all your videos on my playlist. There may be a few errors, but I gave it my best shot.

Birdy Nam Nam - Awesome Turntablism

farmerbuzz says...

These guys were DMC Team Champions in 2002. Pretty impressive, creating actual music using turntables rather than the more abstract noise and rhythm you find in most turntablism. Its incredibly difficult to bend pitches musically using turntables like they're doing. I don't know if it can really be compared to any traditional instruments since the speed of your movements translates into the pitch of the tones. Maybe one of those percussive instruments where you drag a stick against a notched piece of wood but you won't hear this kind of music on one of those any time soon. Dear god I hope this isn't a dupe, I've been posting a lot of those lately.
