Its not the shin that you should be worried about, its a dislocated hip, and the torn hip flexor to go with it.

I cracked and dislocated (by some ~10 degrees) my ulnae and radii. And yes - it was from punching skull/jaws. Really funny event, too At least it wasn't the first/last time I broke my arm bones.

Believe it, people. I mean it, seriously - DO BELIEVE IT, because it really happens. I didn't believe it until I broke both my arms in a single confrontation.

WRONG. Although it looks like harmless fun, this is absolutely Evolution In Action.

Watch closely right at the end when she's dismounting. That's the dangerous moment. She comes within inches of having her hips caught sideways between the two belts. If she was unlucky, this could easily crush her pelvis, snap or dislocate her upper legs. If she got caught lower it could give her serious fractures to the ribcage and possible spinal damage, death by suffocation, etc.

I'd almost expect an EIA tag for this. Seriously, though, Jackie in his prime was hardcore. Still, I don't get why they wouldn't use even the most rudimentary safety devices in some of these stunts. Like that last one... why not land on a safety air cushion? They cut the take before he hit the ground anyway. Doesn't seem like the dislocated pelvis was really necessary.

Fedor publically stated before that he no longer favors the ground punching/pounding technique. His knuckles tear and fingers dislocate. That's why he prefers the submission locks instead he says.

rugbybandit your right if u witniss something first hand you will definatly have a difrent view of things most probably a more emotive fealing towards events.
this however might not be a positve thing. i think most of the time dislocation from events lets you look at it with a more logical unbaist and scrutinising eye.
this might not be true for everyone but for manny i think it would aply.

i think your right in manny respects though as alot of people r happy to jump on band wagons without actuly concidering things properly. i think in this case sumone with a generaly respected job is on a news program stating what thay belive to be a fact. a posable fact that isent as far fetched as manny other things people have sead. surly it would be worth checking it out and then exsplaing the trut. obvously if he was stating an utter obsurdity then yah thair would be no piont but i think we all know the oficeal exsplination is not fully corect weather for securty resions ore not. and i am not saying i belive in anny of the conspiriciecies. as manny of them are badly constructed and have manny problems.
