Father Takes Down LAPD Officer For Pedophilia

cito says...

I've been paid to take photos of daycare playgrounds around town few years ago, but it was for WCTV channel 6 station out of Tallahassee that paid me since I was 2 hours away from their station but lived in the local area they required photos from for a news story.

so yea it can look creepy, and it felt creepy taking snapshots of 4 daycare center playgrounds while kids played.

But strangely no one questioned me or came up to me and asked what I was doing which was even stranger and creepier than my photos in the first place.

But it was an easy $250 dollars.

Bully Cat Stuffs Another Cat In Box

Please tell me this is not one of those posh kitty daycare places where people who shave their cats to look like lions can leave them so they won't get lonely.

Father-daughter purity balls: can it get any creepier?

Why WAIT? Haven't these gullible girls watched Mtv? Don't they wanna shake it for gold teef rappers?

These days marriage is optional (unless you're gay, then it's mandatory). Fathers for children are also optional, government will just pick up the tab for everything, it never runs out of money! Did you know you can buy milk on the cheap or get it free with 'food cards', and all the high schools now have daycare centers? And 'free' health care is just around the corner, cause those herp and HIV meds ain't cheap. All these modern wonders also free babydaddy to keep up his active lifestyle with others, for to deny a 15-year-old anything is akin to a crime.

If you don't like being punished with a baby, there's always the "Casey Clause" to get you out and free you up for more partying! Get in the game, Girl! You're nobody unless you're workin' it!

Olbermann: "Face It! We Do Not Take Care Of Each Other"

Except none of these problems you listed are major problems, or problems whatsoever. Public education is indoctrination for government as savior?! That would be no. I don't remember such indoctrination in math, science, english, gym, or even the most applicable subject, social studies. And guess what? I also taught history in public schools, and I taught things from both liberal and conservative perspectives. In fact, it was required that I do so even if I didn't want to. That's all of course part of the liberal agenda of the county/state I live in, which is one of the most conservative in the nation.

How much of your money actually pays for abortions? Virtually none.

How much of your money actually pays for daycare of anyone else's child? Virtually none.

HELP! HELP! YOU'RE BEING REPRESSED!

If only that were so, my friend. The responsible are chained to the fck-ups, now and forever, because it buys votes.
There is no promotion of responsibility, so we have to pay for the knucklehead gang 'tard to get his tattoos lasered off, we have to pay for overpriced, government school education indoctrination which explains from an early age that Government is the Savior, we have to pay for armies of government bureaucrats whose existence is not need or market-based, and pay again for their "pensions" for jobs half-done or barely done at all. We have to pay for the day care center for teen preggies who made their CHOICE in part because they knew Uncle Scam would pay for everything. We have to pay for the invasion of illegals, their crime, subterfuge and hospital bills. And, of course, we have to pay for the pet projects of the government thieves and thugs who burn our money in a furnace.
There are weak people seeking strength, and then there's the weaklings who prey on the rest of us.
To get votes it's just easier to point a gun at the productive than help up the idiots. Sad truth is sad.

Here's the answer Olbermann's looking for: When we grow up, we realize you can warn people a dozen times to not do something stupid, and then when they proudly do it, it's their responsibility, not yours.

Bikes as Public Transport (Blog Entry by dag)

peggedbea says...

Texas is so huge and spread out most places are not at all conducive to pedestrian traffic. there are towns literally built around the interstate.

I think Austin has a good bit of foot/bike traffic, but it's a really young progressive town. There are areas of Fort Worth that are totally bike/walk-able. And critical mass is a pretty big thing for the hip kids who live in the more urban/less suburban areas. The hipper parts of Fort Worth are even starting to get bike lanes.

I live in a small town that is now a full blown suburb of Fort Worth. The new parts of this expanding town are totally built around the interstate/shopping malls.....Fortunately, I live and (now) work in the 150 year old part of town. Everything I need is in safe biking distance. Starting June 6th I will be able to bike my kids to daycare, then bike to work and the grocery store. And plan to do it everyday that it is not raining. I'm completely excited. A friend that lives with us right now also works in the old part of town and he bikes to work everyday as well.

Supposedly the town is planning on dealing with its booming population by eventually making all the different neighborhoods connect with bike and walking trails. They are also building a park n ride/train station to connect this town to popular spots in Fort Worth, it will also go straight to the intermodal transit station in downtown fort worth and connect to both airports, downtown dallas, dallas shopping/club districts, the major medical district, museums, fair grounds, the sports arenas and even the corporate/suburban areas in North Dallas. I'm soooo excited about this!! In a few years I will feasibly be able to ride my bike to the train station and catch a train all the way to Plano (about 1hr 20 minutes north east) to visit my sister for the weekend. Excellent.

I think your unemployment office offers a pretty good slice of the overall picture, at least where female employees are concerned. My theory (if you could call it that) is that women take those jobs because they're used to being underpaid for shit work. They're also used to being treated like shit by people they serve, and to society having a negative view of them in general. And I'm not talking about the experience of a lot of todays pampered little princesses. I'm talking about a deeply embedded genetic instinct. Perhaps the situation of the black employees could be similar.
One thing's for sure, the women in the office you go to aren't there because of some female affirmative action plan, and yet they're still out of balance with the local population.

It's a possibility. And I can't prove one way or another as I could never find any specific information on what I'm about to repeat from others.

The state I am in requires people to work for their food stamps, medical coverage for their kids, any cash they may receive towards rent and other costs. They are called "Work Experience Program" (WEP) workers. When they are categorized into that program, they are basically required to work a fixed amount of hours each month or they get cut off to some extent. For single women these hours are drastically less (I would guess half or more) if they have kids because they would rather them be with their kids than have to pay for daycare. For instance some guy told me he was laid off from a job working for the county, they refused to pay unemployment and they could do so by law. So he didn't have any unemployment to buffer him while he looked for work and he had to go on welfare. Since he was married and had 2 kids, he was eligible for medical coverage on the kids, food stamps, and cash to help cover costs. For that he had to work something like 150 hours each month at Goodwill as a "WEP worker". So basically he was working a full time job and he told me it worked out to under 4 dollars an hour if his kids didn't need any medical stuff...which I will admit medical coverage could be a huge cost if his kids had something bad happen. So there's incentive to find work if you're a man because you're basically getting screwed hard for your time, but you're also required to work so many hours it's hard to find time to look for work unless you do it at night. He said they scheduled hours for him and he could miss hours and make them up on the weekends and sometimes in the evenings, but only if they had work for him and only if he got permission. Otherwise he fell short on his hours and would be potentially booted.

So for a single mother, these hours are cut down to half maybe more because they are expected to work only if they have someone to take care of their kid or while they are in school allowing for time for them to be there when they leave and be there when they get home. Which if they are forced to ride the bus, their hours are going to be even shorter of actual "work". But they would still get the same benefits as the married man from above. Now......there's another program I've heard about from my parents where one of their renter's claimed to be in it after she alluded otherwise. And it was semi-confirmed by a friend of my dad whose mother gets a home health care provider provided to her by the state.

I don't know the name of the program, but it basically puts single women receiving welfare into the role of home health care provider to some degree. Where they go to the senior citizens houses and stay there some portion of the day for some period of each week. Where they do some picking up, organizing, make sure the senior citizen is generally OK as far as they are able to determine and help them with tasks they might be able to do. The friend of my dad...his mom's home health care provider overdosed on pills while she was at his mom's house. Died on the couch. She called him up and told her the lady was dead on her couch and called 911 to tell them...then went to bed. There are suspicions of mine and my parents that these ladies steal drugs from the old folks and use em or sell em....they had problems with a lot of "visitors" at their rental when a lady there claiming to be a "home health care provider" on her application but then later admitted it was a government program...no idea what it's called. I have never heard of a man being in or being asked to be in this program.

So...they have programs which seemed to be tailored to women. I am more likely to believe that they also give preference to women in hiring. I will tell you one thing I did see while I was at those offices though. Young women especially if they are in fairly attractive get treated poorly by a lot of the women there. They also never once had any sort of training program, employment hunting assistance (beyond searching on their system yourself), or anything else to offer or suggest to me when I asked. But I heard them repeatedly tell women they offer programs to help find part-time work....if they are successful or not, I have no idea. I don't know if preference is given to people who have kids or not....didn't go around asking everyone if they had kids.

French Law Threatens Women for Wearing Burka

vaporlock says...

A lady at my daughter's daycare was wearing one of these yesterday (in Germany). In my opinion, if your wearing one of these for any reason other than Halloween you need to be professionally deprogramed. These things should not be allowed on anyone who is not a voting adult, and no one should be allowed to force someone to wear these horrible things. If your an adult and you want to wear one go ahead... at least I know to stay away from you.

Homeschooling FTW (Blog Entry by dag)

chicchorea says...

Homeschooled children in the United States reached 1.5 million in 2007. This represents a 74% increase from the 1999, inception of record keeping, figures of the Department of Education's National Center for Education Statistics(NCES). This is a 36% increase from the 2003 figures. Homeschooled children represented 2.9% of children up from 2.2% in 2003.

The numbers are increasing.

Not to belabor with statistics, which are available, homeschooled children in the US score significantly higher on SAT and ACT tests as well as on state tests where given. My children just scored three years advanced of their grade levels in all areas on state tests. They have never been to public schools.

As far as socialization as well as the other areas discussed, I submit it may very well be counterintuitive. I/we have encountered hundreds of homeschooled children and I dare say they are better socialized and domesticated on the whole than public school children or most adults for that matter. YMMV. There have been significant studies, for instance, that compare preschool children that are submitted to daycare with those that have not. The behavioral patterns differ markedly in favor of those not exposed to daycare. Daycare, it seems, provides a college of misdemeanor.

While religious and/or moral concerns are cited in the reports and when asked for one reason only it was as was stated above. If given a list of seven reasons and allowed to pick more than one, then concern about the school environment was foremost. Concern about the quality of instruction was about as high as was the desire for a nontraditional approach as was the former.

In the US, the income level and educational level of homeschool families is significantly higher on the average as well.

Got Fired Today... (Happy Talk Post)

laura says...

I got fired from a job once because
a) I wouldn't drink margaritas with them on Fridays at work then go pick my kids up from daycare.
b) I fixed a problem, which wasn't in my job description. Threatened the ego of a guy above me...
So I get into work the next day and the secretary tells me they're all sitting in the "conference room" waiting for me. Did I do such-n-such rephrased to sound bad even though I fixed a problem? Yes. Was that my job? No. Please leave, we'll send you your last check.
I celebrated with Margaritas.

7 Year-old Girl White Supremacy

atara says...

Thanks for pointing that out, Lumm - it was exactly the same point I was going to make. The media has been focusing on the fact that the mom and step-father were allegedly teaching their children racist views, but there were also factors that made the home unfit: drug abuse and a certain level of neglect (one story reported that the stepfather never went to pick up the two-year old boy from daycare because it was too cold one day.)

In Canada, certain aspects of speech are protected. However, speech that incites violence or hate against certain groups is illegal. Thus, if the racist charges are proven, then the mom and step-father can be found to have been teaching their children to do illegal things (hate speech).

I am uncomfortable with the state deciding what it is and is not proper to teach your children (and who gets to draw the line: creationism? atheism? parents who believe vaccines give their kids autism?), but in this case, according to the law, it's the hate speech by the kid's guardians that is illegal, and CFS is removing the kids from an environment where illegal activities were taking place.

Black & White - Intro

kagenin says...

One of my very favorite games of all time. A DAMN shame it was only 5 levels, and the multiplayer aspect was pretty limited - the last day the lobby servers were up was probably the most active day in years of release.

The final patch added support for the P5 glove, but I could never get it to work because it was always looking for a P5 support library at run time and would crash before the game began.

The sequel was pretty good, but I liked how more open the first felt. I would always turn evil, but encourage my creature to be benevolent. What can I say, I have a thirst for young female virgins (you get a TON of prayer power by sacrificing female child, and less energy for sacrificing boys or adults males or females - enough prayer power for quite a few miracles.). It's about the only way to both manage your populations and keep your prayer energy stocked. Kind of convenient too, the game gives you a Daycare building to pilfer whenever you needed a quick jolt of juice.

The game required a lot of attention to micromanagement details, though. If you let your worshipers go too long with out attention, they'll eat all their food, and pray themselves to starvation and death... These details were smoothed over in the second game, which doesn't require as much attention to detail, and improves the process of training your creature and shaping it's behavior (which was REALLY hit or miss in the first game).

The main strategic secret is to make all your disciples female (all female farmers, lumberjacks, builders, etc...), except for breeders, which should all be male.

Potty Training Elmo Style!

laura says...

Oh. My. God.
...and for weeks after this galant attempt at making potty training easier on their child, the little girl would repeat in a concerned tone "where's Elmo?" every time she went potty, deeply worrying the daycare staff.
The End.
