Very David Lynch inspired methinks?
The sound of this band is reminiscent of Julee Cruise. She provided some of the music for Twin Peaks -- which also starred Ray Wise.

Holy shit, I just came up with the best movie ever. Gary Busey stars as the administrator of an insane asylum where doctor Crispin Glover diagnoses patients. Get Phil Spector to do the music and David Lynch to direct.

I smell an Oscar.
