Honest Trailers - Skyfall

vaire2ube says...

Skyfall made no sense.... the super villain has the power to complete his task, but his task is totally inconsequential to everything ... who cares if M dies she's retiring... Bond can't shoot anymore ... it would have been loads better if Bond DIED with the villain and got to go back to being dead. He has no need for the agency anymore, they cannot protect anyone let alone their own agents.

So much money wasted for effects that made no sense even MORE than the usual nonsense... the villain wasnt even a villain he was totally rational... I just wanted to see him and daniel craig make out already

WikiLeaks continually makes the US government shit its pants

Yogi says...

Yeah he is definitely not Daniel Ellsberg. Of course people are going to focus primarily on Assange and not on people who are working hard to responsibly leak information that has a purpose.

dystopianfuturetoday said:

In retrospect, I think Assange should have made an effort to only release information that revealed corruption or wrongdoing. I don't see much point in leaking classified information just for the sake of releasing classified information. Less wikileaks, more wikiwhistleblowing. Were there any other major bombshells other than the 'Collateral Murder' video? And what ever happened to those supposed leaks that were to bring Bank of America to its knees? Daniel Ellsberg he is not.

Assange's Christmas address from Ecuador embassy in London

Trancecoach says...

I had the privilege of talking with Daniel Ellsberg a couple of weeks ago about Assange and wikileaks and while he's in support of the freedom of information, he still feels Assange is a bit of a strange character.

Ricky Gervais: My Ugliest Self-Photos

There's just no pleasing some people. I'm with Yogi, I'm not a Harry Potter fan (never seen the films or read the books) but I really like Daniel Radcliffe too. He seems like a really nice, cool dude who hasn't let the fame and fortune go to his head. He's a rare one.

Trancecoach said:

Radcliffe actually seems a bit repressed, if you ask me... like, he's so careful not to offend anyone that he hardly has anything to say... and while I don't follow him that closely, I know he's been outspoken in a few (relatively safe) political positions (antidiscrimination of homosexuals, I think?) and, even then, he seems reticent and ambivalent. I give him a few years until his breakdown and subsequent reinvention.
