Craaaaazy DA had enough with the Cheney admin, and actually found direct wrong-doing on the part of not only Cheney himself, but Gonzales personally helped thwart an ongoing investigation. So, just because the DA is a nutball partisan, doesn't mean that something very wrong didn't happen here.

And a grand jury of 23 people think there's enough evidence to bring the case before a judge.

Since it's a state issue, Bush cannot pardon anyone.
