I couldn't see past the gimmicky editing of this and stopped after about 10 minutes. I'm used to hearing Peter Coyote's narration on higher quality productions and this didn't need the "edgy" treatment to make its points.

I like the reporter trying to pitch a dramatic scene with Tara fighting off coyotes, but being too late to save Bella. :'(

There's actually a law where I live that you can't chain or leash your dog in your yard for exactly this reason. Coyotes and bears.

Unattended? The Chihuahua was attended by a Rottweiler, you don't get much more attended than that, unless maybe you have two Rottweilers.

Unattended? wtf? we spent six days baiting this area with rotten meat to attract the coyotes, we did about 35 takes before one got brave enough to latch onto the little dog

Darn, that was fast! - I'd say the coyote was faster on the attack than the Rottweiler though.
