i thought this was interesting and was unaware of the other video.
the other video is the complete show and the points you make in comparison are valid but technically this is not a duplicate but rather a clip.
my feelings will not be hurt if someone dupes this video nor will i harbor any ill will to anybody who does.
it is a video..a good one...but still a video and i have no emotional attachment to it.
it started a great conversation and it was again seen by many who may have also been unaware of the existence of the other video.
mission accomplished.

Well for the most part - the takedown notices we've been getting have been aimed at complete shows. It's not something that we want to promote. If we catch them in the queue we should probably *discard (to avoid a rift in the sift - lets not retoractively go after the ones that are already out)

bl1968- I was pleasantly surprised that it's a complete show and not just a clip! Thanks for posting it, I've heard about this series but haven't seen it. They are amazing little critters.

@Eric: The act of making an edit and upload itself is considered a contribution in itself, even if you didn't do anything else with the content.

Editors get awards at the Oscars, after all - an uploader is an artist. And of course, if you're uploading the entire TV show, then you're violating the letter of the "don't upload complete shows" rule.

I sometimes find FamilyGuy funny on VideoSift, but the couple of times that I saw a complete show - I found it disappointing.

It's not that it's dark - I like dark. But it's dark in a fairly simplistic way, that seems to cater to angsty tweenagers - and that's depressing.
