Epic Molson Canadian ad
Lux Aeterna by Clint Mansell from Requiem For A Dream. Used in lots of trailers. One of the Lord of the Rings trailers used a slightly recomposed version of it.

It's a definite improvement over those damned Clint Mansell temp tracks. I'd love to see it again with an original score. You planning to screen that puppy anytime soon?

We saw "Moon" today in London (Blog Entry by gwiz665)
Sorry, I had to go to an actual theater to see it : )
For me it was a good flick, but not a great one. I'll just say I was kind of expecting a different type of movie.
Amazingly well done for it's budget though, and it has Clint Mansel doing the music who I've been a huge fan of since he was on Trent Reznor's old nothing music label.
2001 Space Odyssey synced with Adagio for strings
I know Barber's Adagio has become one those cliche soundtracks you hear everywhere, like compositions by clint mansell or philip glass ... but this is truly beautiful!

Requiem for a Dream by Clint Mansell, I believe.
More specifically "Lux Aeterna" from the Requiem for a Dream soundtrack and I believe what they are using here is a remix that was made for the Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers trailer and is known as Requiem for a Tower.

Republicans and Military Men on John McCain
I'm starting to wish Clint Mansell never wrote that piece of music...
