I addressed exactly that in my longer follow up to Enoch. I am asking you to open your eyes and look at the reality on the ground. It's not about legitimizing claims to statehood for convenience or opportunity or semantics or whatever. It is that an area of land larger than many European countries was running under their laws. Was paying them taxes. Was under their justice system. Was under their rule in every single manner. At that point you need to recognize the reality and call a spade a spade and start acting in accordance with reality and not just the borders drawn up on somebody's map somewhere.

You want an analogy in America, than have the whole state of Texas under the control of Richard Spencer and his likes. The American police don't go there, because they fear for their lives. Even the American military has stopped pushing in because their losses were too much. Instead the American military is using back chanels to mostly direct their violent terrorist attacks towards the Mexicans. If Mexico gets tired of Texans coming in and killing them, do they have no further recourse than to ask pretty, pretty please to the US to extradite Spencer and crack down on extremists? That is the reality in Tribal Pakistan with the Taliban calling all the shots.

You're not paying for who makes it or how it's made or any other basically irrelevant detail. You're paying for the privilege of wearing their logo.

Luxottica still doesn't own the brands, tomorrow (or after contract) all these brand could decide to let Walmart make their glasses. Don't kid yourself to think these glasses would be any cheaper with "competition" though, Chanel isn't new to the game of charging more than cost, they would not operate any differently regardless if they made the glasses themselves, in fact since nobody can match Luxottica in operations, prices would probably go up.

Who says Luxottica even sets the prices, this was not sufficiently investigated. If Luxottica sells its services to the brands at set prices and the brands themselves set the RRP, this loses a lot of meaning.

Does this mean Luxottica is operating in good faith and are gentle souls? Hell no, it is a pretty dire situation. I just don't believe it would change in any meaningful way if there were more manufactures. What would change is how much Chanel has to pay to get their glasses made, it wouldn't do shit to change what we pay.

He says, as an example: particles can be in two places at the same time. That is correct. He says he is made of particles, so he should be able to do the same... That is not correct. Well, tha laws of the quantum world DO NOT apply in the larger scale, and that is precisely why scientist have a hard time combining quantum physics (very small) with relativity (rather large).

Like that BS movie, "what the **** do we know". They have scientists saying somre pretty interesting and correct stuff there. But they also made up emotional water, and there is a blond woman who is chanelling an alien starfleet spirit.
