Anekdoten - The War Is Over (beautiful trippy song)
Anekdoten is a Swedish progressive rock band, comprised of guitarist/vocalist Nicklas Barker, cellist Anna Sofi Dahlberg, bassist/vocalist Jan Erik Liljeström and drummer Peter Nordins. They are notable for the use of the mellotron and the heavy and trippy sound, dominated by a pounding bass guitar. Their music is associated with the tradition of 1970s progressive rock music, especially the one of King Crimson, but they have also covered songs by Van Der Graaf Generator and Magma on their live performances.
One of my favorite songs evar!

The Pachelbel Rant - Never look at the Canon in D the same
As I cellist, I can back him up. I think the score gives us two measures of the notes, and then has a repeat sign for, like, the rest of the thing. I'd get so bored that I'd make up my own harmonies which, come to think of it, was my first experience in playing by ear. So thanks Pachelbel for boring me.
