The Cannabis Cup has nothing to do with medical marijuana, it is a recreational marijuana event, normally held in Amsterdam.

Make no mistake, the supposed tax revenue that proponents of legalization make are a bit overstated since it is relatively easy to grow (to grow period, to grow quality stuff not so easy or cheap) compared to brewing one's own beer or something, but there would be some.

Nope. Cola is slang for cocain. At least in English speaking countries. For examples see many movies from the 1980s. I have heard the cannabis reference as well but I don't like to associate those two very different substances. I wouldn't want my favorite food associated with some other food that have negative connotations for me. Therefore I would not use the same word for those two foods.

Further, the test isn't really testing reaction times that are relevant in realistic driving situations. The issue with cannabis impairment is delayed reaction to surprising stimuli. So, for example, the kid chasing his ball into the street. Nobody would expect significant motor impairment.

LSD can treat alcoholism ... MDMA for PTSD ... Ibogaine for opiates ... Hey, if someones idea of recreational use is taking psychotropic drugs, more power to them cause I dont want to. In November 2012, a Medical Marijuana facility in Israel announced a new strain of the plant which only has Cannabidiol as an active ingredient, and virtually no THC. This new strain gives the benefits of Medical Marijuana with none of the side-effects associated with being "high"

Cannabidiol is unscheduled in the US. However tetrahydrocannabinols, both naturally and synthetically occurring, are currently classified under Schedule I of the US Controlled Substances Act ... SO IS THE PLANT ILLEGAL? OR JUST INGESTING IT? CAN WE GROW HEMP OR NOT????

Also the patent on cannabidiol that the US govt has through the dept of health and human services, granted in 2003 ... they are saving it for pharmaceutical companies, no laymen can grow a plant and use it... sickening...a crime that effects us all, user or not.

A friend of mine (RIP), who consumed, lived in a 6 plex apartment. A neighbor would complain now and then about my friends habits and that she could smell it. He eventually got so fed up with her calls to the landlord and he had determined by blocking a certain air vent in his house and blowing air into another one, it would feed entirely into her apartment. He said he set up a fan-driven CANNABIS CAMPFIRE (shall we call it) one day and basically shotgunned her entire side of the building.
