Saul Bellow's Seize the Day, some books by Gabriel Garcia Marquez (can't choose) and ofcourse Bambi, A Life in the Woods by Felix Salten.

I actually found "Bambi" the book to be incredibly depressing. He essentially abandons Faline during the pregnancy and comments at the end that she looks much older after raising his kids.

Seeing how the regular 48 hours these things are supposed to last are more than up, I guess it's time to wrap things up.
