Escape! The Supercut
Headbanging Anemone should be a thing.
Guy from the future sings in a way you've never heard before
That mouth is like a fractal of oral sex; an all in one cunnilingus, analingus, ballingus, taintingus, nipple slurping elbow tickler. These aliens were evolved from sea anemone... I wonder if anyone has placed their genitalia in a sea anemone -- I guess that's just one of those questions you ask Paul at the pearl gates.
Russian ice fishing doesn't go as planned
Oh good cod that's totally fake! He totally left the fish on porpoise, just for the halibut otherwise he would have let out a killer wail. That fish has watched this video like 100 times, she's hooked. I wonder if instead of awkwardly shambling around the plaice he could have tried to skate or ride a pike. Its a good job he filmed it - his friends probably aren't gillable enough to fall for a tall dory like this. Without fish eel have to grin and bare a gouda or other dairy comestible - either whey it'll be a scale down from the dinner he wanted. Sorry, couldn't kelp myself - have to learn reel myself in from time to time salmon ought to stop me before I make anemone. Fin.
starfish are dying on both coasts
That's pretty scary too but starfish are a keystone species, meaning when/if they go, the entire ecosystem changes...again. I've heard stories here in the west that the anemones are having trouble because the shellfish that the starfish ate are now taking over the tide waters and displacing them...I wonder what happens when the anemones go, surely something else needs them in order to live, and something needs that thing...and so on, and so on....talk about a slippery slope (pun intended).
We need a "we're all going to die" channel. :-)
just got back from Maine.... someone there who has lived their whole lives in Maine says the lobsters are leaving Maine waters, moving North. things are changing
Crab Fu
Northern Pacific Decapoda technique, an excellent defense against anemone.
plastic state of mind-empire state of mind parody
Those thin little veggy bags make about as much an impact in the grand scheme of the environmental clusterfuck as a single wild horse fart. Reserve that guilt for an unwanted pregnancy or maybe changing your car's motor oil on a public beach?
Or, you could simply save them all in a box in your closet where they couldn't choke anemone...I know! Melt them into a giant blob on the end of a pole, a quick-crete base, and you've got public art!
So FUCKING hate public service parodies with too-much-too-little-too-late messages, especially when lame rappers take two minutes to scrawl lamer lyrics on a bev-nap at a tittle bar ass-raping a decent tune to remind idiots to remain idiots.
Hacks und posers.
What bugs the shit out of me is I dont know how to get around using plastic bags when purchasing fruits and vegetables. Each type of fruit or vegetable needs its own separate bag. Throwing those bags away has always bugged me.
Ocean of Dicks
Awww, the cute little pee anemone at the end!!

Cheerleader Crab Waves Pompons Around
Whoah my pincers just turned into a couple of anemones... Trippy! I knew I shouldn't have eaten that stripey fish
Cheerleader Crab Waves Pompons Around
"You see these anemone!? You wanna look like them?! Fuck your papers from the Mayo clinic!!"
Mystery Life Form in NC Sewer
Lots of invertebrate water creatures out of water look really alien. I'd like to see this thing under water. What if then it looks like a Sea Anemone. Those things shrink back in. My friend thinks this video is totally fake saying how that creature used up all its energy just to flinch like that. Which i say .. blah! This vid looks completely real. Notice there is no obsessive camera focusing, or mundane camera movement to simulate "Look how real this is".
indonesian mimic octopus immitates banded sea snake
Found this more detailed description on Youtube:
Thaumoctopus mimicus. This fascinating creature was discovered in 1998 off the coast of Sulawesi in Indonesia, the mimic octopus is the first known species to take on the characteristics of multiple species. This octopus is able to copy the physical likeness and movement of more than fifteen different species, including sea snakes, lionfish, flatfish, brittle stars, giant crabs, sea shells, stingrays, jellyfish, sea anemones, and mantis shrimp. This animal is so intelligent that it is able to discern which dangerous sea creature to impersonate that will present the greatest threat to its current possible predator. For example, scientists observed that when the octopus was attacked by territorial damselfishes, it mimicked the banded sea snake, a known predator of damselfishes.
Suprising Anemone Defense Mechanism
It seems to be something other than an anemone. The branching structure of the fronds would indicate something else. The tentacles of tube-dwelling worms, however, tend to be more radial. Based on the branching structure, I'm guessing these are the tentacles is a variety of sea cucumber. A very large one, however. Are there any marine biologists here on the 'sift?

Pretty dramatic; reminds me of touch sensitive nyctinastic plants, but a bit more dramatic when the branches and everything can also be constricted underwater.
some little mimosas here;

I used to play with plants like that all the time when I was a kid, great fun when you're 4.
