I don't dislike him particularly , I just think his fame is maby not that deserved , im sure there are many others who have made far better documentaries that we just don't know the names of, I think he sometimes undermines his argument in the process of making his films more aces sable and entertaing (ambush interviewing people , When he dosent necaseraly need to.

Thats the thing realy , His documentaries are more entertainment than documentary , I'm fine with him doing reasonably well and being famous from his work , I would just like other documentary makers to be elevated to the same heights and not reside in obscurity.

I don't think I dislike him though , I don't know enough about him as a person to make that jugment. But His skin on his face dose seem a bit lose.

i know from my experiences i tip 20% + in america and less than that when im in europe. the first time i was there old enough to be by myself and picking up my own checks, i had no idea that it wasnt expected of me and certainly not in the 20% + for EVERYTHING. i had no idea until a nice cabbie told me and warned me that me being a tiny single foreign female throwing down the fliff like that was gonna get me taken advantage of. so... i still tip there, because i was raised to believe its showing gratitude for a good service provided, but not as much and not as often. i like the tip for the first round of drinks rule i adopted. i disagree with netrunner, it doesnt have anything to do with status, not for me anyway, really im a filthy broke ass single mom lady, i have no status. but it does have to do with this... i was raised to do it. enculturated by a society that says its the right thing to do. i dont mind doing it. at all. but i do think its bullshit that we pay wait staff so poorly they have to depend on it.

oh and as far as the worst dressed and the loudest, i totally fucking agree. i know i am a loud obnoxious ugly american with no fashion sense what so ever. and well, old navy has taken over our fashion industry. (says the bitch wearing 3 old navy tank tops) so....... i mean ive been ambushed by subway dwelling gypsy kids that dressed better than me.

This sort of ambush "journalism" on the parts of bloggers and O'Reilly is really just a veilled threat. It's sending a message. They're saying "If you say something we don't like, we're going to track you down and stick a camera in your face, then edit the footage to make us look smart and you look dumb."
