Liar. I know you have a latex allergy. Or is that why you have that rash? You know what I'm talking about.
In reply to this comment by schmawy:
Bearded midgets, and the baloons were latex.
In reply to this comment by kronosposeidon:
Balloon Jesus appreciates your tribute to his balloon beard. He forgives you for all your balloon-related sins. BTW, what were you thinking when you had those midgets and the mylar balloons?
Balloon Jesus sees everything.

This one goes out to my balooney buddy!
Bum Fights - Part 1
First of all, this is fucking hilarious. Second of all, the majority of footage shown here is punkass kids and thugs 'fighting', as opposed to, hobos being exploited. Thirdly, employing words such as "would", "maybe", "possibly", and "perhaps" gain nothing in arguments, lest with fools. Fourth, trying to equivocate this video to Nazi, Rawanda, Ottoman, Mongolian, Roman, American, British, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, Mayan, Japanese, etc. atrocities, is absurd. Do not employ this tactic in future arguments; unless it's with retards.
My videos speak for themselves and folk here will think what they will. Check my pq. I reckon my peeps be surprised I ain't post this shit more quick-faster mofo. Now, don't get me wrong, I completely understand and appreciate your allergy to this sort of stuff; it merely urges me to post more.
RH Reality Check: Contraception Access For Youth
"Why are my tax dollars going to condoms?"
Firstly, the government will be getting massively discounted condoms, they cost pennies per box, so really the argument that your tax money is paying for them is weak.
"Sex isn't something that is happening in school, so it isn't something schools should be providing goods and services for."
It would probably be best to take a few seconds to think your comments through before you share them. School is exactly where it's all happening. Maybe not physically (although frequently this is the case) but this is where it all starts. Hormones raging, sex through media everywhere, wanting to feel part of the crowd, peer pressure the list goes on and on.
"...and it shouldn't be providing anything but educational materials."
Sex and relationship education is vital for a young persons physical and emotional wellbeing. I'm not going to argue the point of that right now, it's been done to death. One thing I do think though, is that teachers shouldn't be the people delivering sex ed or handing out condoms. It should be a specialist subject and either they should bring independent services in to deliver it, or they should have a teacher who is trained thoroughly and believes in it themself. Because it's not something that anyone can do, it takes knowledge, passion and a very broad minded personality to talk about this subject with young people on every level that's required for the content to ever be respected by them.
"I don't want to hear this "Well boys can just go to the store and buy condoms" shit either.
Who ever said girls can't?"
No-one ever said girls can't, and that's a great point, they should absolutely be encouraged to buy/carry condoms too. But seeing as it's the girls who are the ones who are at risk of pregnancy and the pill is all this will prevent, it should be something they can access. There is no evidence to say that the contraceptive pill has any side effects if you take them younger, probably no worse off than that the rare kid who has an allergy to latex. In fact they are regularly prescribed to combat difficult and painful periods by doctors in young women anyway.
Bottom line, educate your children about this any way you can. Deal with the fact they may not listen to your advice. Prepare them if they don't. No-one is saying that early sexual encounters are ok, but they'll happen anyway no matter how much you try and brush it under the carpet.
Electro Sensitive Santa Fe residents claim allergies to Wifi
As the Wired article points out, they're misusing the word "allergy" ... and I'm going to call this a comedy video too because of the LITERAL tinfoil hat defence being employed. In the guy's ratty old car.

English hornets (wasps) scare the living crap out of me
>> ^xxovercastxx:
Thank you, Zonbie, for being a voice of reason in this thread. The European hornet is not aggressive unless defending a nest and the males are not even equipped with a stinger.
Spoco, the European wasp and hornet are not the same animal. The wasp is as you describe: aggressive, frail and interested in human food. The hornet is none of these.
Excluding those with allergies, I don't get the terror people have of bees/wasps/hornets/etc. Being stung is really not a big deal. Certainly no reason to call for a hunt to extinction.
Thanks for the clarification overcast, that does clear things up a bit. I don't dislike bees at all, they leave us alone, it's the aggressiveness of the European wasps I hate, they damn well chase you around (and the kids, I predominantly am trying to keep them from the kids, I'd rather not have a screaming kid on my hands). If they just left us alone I'd be fine with them, but they really are aggressive bastards, and their sting hurts enough that I'd rather them not be around.
Plus they're introduced to this country, so we should be able to eradicate them with impunity... (ok, don't extend that too far else all people in this country other than Aboriginals fit in the same basket)

English hornets (wasps) scare the living crap out of me
Oh, come on, that was a really, really small one. And I say that cause I've had my share of experience with these, thank you.
When I was 8 or 9, one stung my forehead when I had fallen asleep in the garden of my parents' summer house (that's Eastern Europe, by the way). I couldn't open my eyes or talk coherently for 2 or 3 days after that - my face had inflated twice in volume and was all red. But it went fairly well for me - some people with allergies or a heart condition may die pretty much instantly after they're stung and as far as I know, there's no antidote under those circumstances. On the plus side, though, my body seems to have developed some sort of a natural anti-dote, because if an ordinary wasp or a bee gets me nowadays, I barely feel it. Mosquitoes and horseflies are, unfortunately, a different story.
Anyway, I've met and fought these nasty little buggers afterwards, too. The ones as small as this are easily liquidated by a vacuum, whereas a shot of electricity (even 220V) doesn't really take them down, they just take a jolt and are on their way; it takes several and even than they're just flying funny and seem a bit disorientated.
Here's a nice close-up of one for those of you who want seconds
Steven sprays bald face hornets with Off mosquito repellant!
It's not like big Steve here is a little kid. He should know exactly how stupid what he's doing is, especially with an allergy. I'm disappointed he didn't get stung.
BTW, here in the US the bald-faced hornet is more commonly known as a yellowjacket. It's not a true hornet.
When I was 4 or 5 I fell on a log that contained a hive. I was stung about 130 times. Now that was a sight to see... at least that's what I'm told.
How Mercury Causes Neurodegeneration (Brain Damage)
rembar: That's what I infer from your prior pattern of removing all videos critical of dental amalgam from the science channel (1 2 3) while drive-by linking to outdated pro-amalgam papers that say things like "no credible scientific evidence exists that indicates that exposure to mercury from dental amalgam poses a serious health risk in humans" and "No illness has ever been associated with amalgam use in patients, except for rare instances of allergies." Also, after removing the BBC documentary from the science channel you linked in that thread a denial that any european country had ever banned amalgam, contrary to the interview with the Swedish MP in said documentary, and contrary to the official government websites of Norway and Sweden, which would give anybody a reasonable suspicion that you hadn't watched the video before kicking it, which is a sign of dogmatism.
So I exaggerated with "absolutely safe", sorry. How about "rembar was very confident that amalgam is safe for almost everybody" and "rembar removed the video as soon as he saw the title"? Fair enough?
Peace.
Colonoscopy Intestinal Worm Rodeo
>> ^dag:
I was reading something recently about what we call parasites actually being more like symbiotes. Worms and other creatures have been in our guts for millions of years, and they may give us immunities to things we're not aware of. It's only in the last 50 years that we've tried to stamp them out by ingesting chemicals.
Still wouldn't want one of these in my bottom.
The increase in allergies has stemmed from the decrease in parasites. However it's more like our bodies have always been busy fighting off parasites, so when something else invaded our system the response was lower due to troop investment in the parasite war. When we stopped fighting off parasites, we started sending too many troops to lesser wars, like invading pollen, thus causing more problems for ourselves. I would argue it's less like we were on the same team, more like in the absence of an identifiable enemy our bodies start making new ones.
(Not unlike certain governments...yes?)

Who loves illegal street valium? This guy!
Dystonic reactions, while rarely serious, are nevertheless distressing to those having these involuntary muscle contractions. This is a relatively common side- effect of the neuroleptic class of drugs, i.e Haldol. The drugs mess with your brain's dopamine receptors. Benadryl (the over-the-counter allergy medicine), is the most commonly used antidote.
