J.J. Abram's Stranger Trailer
I'll start the theories:
Alfonso Cuaron's upcoming NBC sci-fi/fantasy series Believe. This seems to be the popular choice.
J. J. Abram's special project concerning Rod Serling's "The Stop Along the Way". Serling's last script before his death which he considered his best work. Of course it hasn't been nearly long enough since Abrams got the rights to it for him to have done much with it yet.
Star Wars. Can't see them making a teaser this far from everything yet, and the only thing people seem to point to is the way "Soon he will know" leaves in reverse order ala Yoda speak. I'm not betting on this option at all.
The Crow. Not sure why people are saying that since near as I can tell Bad Robot isn't involved with the reboot at all.
The Best and Worst Movies of 2011 (Cinema Talk Post)
>> ^deathcow:
I liked the Prometheus trailer better than any 2011 films
I don't know if I necessarily agree with that, but 2012 is definitely going to kick 2011's ass, cinematically. You've got Prometheus, The Dark Knight Rises, The Hobbit, Star Trek 2, John Carter, Skyfall, Cabin in the Woods, not to mention new films from people like Paul Thomas Anderson, Wes Anderson, Quentin Tarantino, Rian Johnson, Derek Cianfrance, Steven Soderbergh, Alfonso Cuaron, Nicolas Winding Refn, and a movie directed by Tom Tykwer and the Wachowskis. Plus: not one, but TWO NEW ARNIE MOVIES! 2012 -- best year ever? Possibly.
The Shock Doctrine (the documentary)
Here's the seven-minute film about the Shock Doctrine that Naomi Klein made with Alfonso Curaron shortly after the book was published in 2007:
