Urban legend? - Business class professor gets stoned
Good catch on the prof. I see he is not lecturing this semester, but common sense says it would probably be hard to fire a professor unless he had to take a drug test.
So, odds are he is just naturally like this? or always stoned. BoingBoing picked up on the same info. title changed cause I think it is an urban legend.
Chris Wallace Interviews Bill Clinton (complete)
I'm pretty sure this one is real unlike the snopes President IQ urban legend. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,2087-2350564.html
IQ std dev is 15.. so we're talking Bush is top 5%.. Clinton would be top 0.5%
Video of Steve Irwin's death? (Sift Talk Post)
I heard that Discovery will air the whole film they shot up to (but just moments before) him getting ray-ed, and then show a funeral and biopic tribute.
But sure this is the thing of urban legends and undoubtly fake vids will hit the internet. This is a good article about the death footage being out there an possibly getting on the internets. I doubt it will ever be accidentally released. http://www.sltrib.com/entertainment/ci_4295973
Prison Riot - Gangs Go to War (Sift Talk Post)
As a general aside, I personally think classifying any video which graphically depicts a human death as snuff is not a suitable rule of thumb. Though I admit that my personal standards for feeling offended are perhaps more relaxed than the average persons, I think 'snuff' is more urban legend than deviant pornography tearing our moral fabric apart at the seems.
So without considering the tact with which a video was made, what technically constitutes snuff or otherwise prohibited submissions due to violent content? Does http://www.videosift.com/story.php?id=7331 pass your criteria and, if so, is there some value to the content beyond the simple fact that it captures the moment of death?
P.S. Welcome to videosift, Anliz!
Little girl ghost in french video
Some folks in a cemetery were filming and when they called their friend nina to get their attention, the light from the infra-red camera (which projects as green) reflected in her eyes. Through urban legend, some will argue that's a real ghost of a sad girl.
Gas Pump Fire
this is no urban legend... the key is not to pull the pump out of the car... in the car, the fire can just burn itself out within a closed system... if you pull it out, flaming gas sprays everywhere
