Dubstep Cat
Seriously though, certain breeds wouldn't stand for this, certain cats raised in dissimilar environs either- Others like ginger here, could give a fuck and may actually enjoy it. Orange here, having been raised by Sparky Mc Larky, seems to take it with a grain of "meh."
braschlosans' correct here and as any cat person knows, kitty will let you know when your puny manipulation becomes tiresome.
Generic orange tabbies are generally an anything-goes sorta variety....Tomcat material
Marc Martel (Sombody to Love guy) does Bohemian Rhapsody
>> ^kymbos:
Guys, this is all fine, but can we quickly devolve into a redundant "he's really good / no he's not - I know singing better than you" thread?
Thanks.
<MilkmanDan> That was really good! He does sound a lot like Freddie Mercury, but I know Bohemian Rhapsody better than Somebody to Love, so this time I could actually be sure that it was him singing and not just lip-synch.
<MilkmanDon> You ignorant blowhard! My tomcat yowling at the moon at night sounds more like Freddie Mercury! And I'd know, I've been playing the milk-bottle xylophone since I was 4 years old!
How was that @kymbos?
Cat vs. Dog Showdown
I had a semi-stray tomcat on my farm when I was growing up that got into fights with coyotes. It had about one and a third ears, a lower lip that got sliced from the corner down so it drooled and stuck its tongue out all the time, a broken/crooked tail, and walked with a perpetual limp. But that was over the course of 4-5 years or so, and it never "lost" a fight in the ultimate sense (ie. it came out alive).
It eventually died after being hit by a pickup. Some cats can be real tough little bastards!

Pilot in fighter jet ejects SECONDS before crash in Canada
Listen right at the 6 second mark. I don't see any flame burst out of the back end, but it sounds like a flame out. Perhaps brought on by the bank at low speed disrupting the intake just enough to cause a brief flame out then the wing tip stall and unrecoverable nose dip. F-18 is has much better handling and is able to have very high angles of attack compared with the tomcat (its closet relative). If he had engines, that looked like something he could recover from with full throttle, but a flame out would be doom. Though, it could just be sloppy pilot work and a flat out wing still, which would be a really expensive mistake.
How to know if she'll be good in bed
on the whole, rings true. but i would say that this is a kind of hasty linkage (ahem) of EVERYDAY or OUTWARD confindence on the part of a gal and a wildness in bed. studies on this end indicate that there is never an obvious correlation. one case in particular indicates the opposite: confident gal does not necessarily a sack-tomcat make.

yeah i should have that some time next week. thanks dude!
but how much are they second hand, you know, just in case i can't get $38m. I mean, they're used. They're expensive to maintain. I mean, throw me a frikkin bone here.

The Final F-14 Tomcat Flyby
>> ^twiddles:
Wtf, "That's like Pearl Harbor all over again?" Almost fell out of my chair. People shouldn't comment when making videos or remove the sound and add a different track.

Maybe the guy was thinking about that movie "The Final Countdown" and thought these types of aircraft were around in WWII...yikes.

US Navy shoots down Iranian passenger jet
Iran Air Flight 655 continuously squawked Mode III (Civilian Airliner) IFF in duration of flight however the crew on the new Aegis cruiser USS Vincennes identified flight 655 as squawking Mode II (Iranian F-14 Tomcat) IFF momentarily, personnel proceeded to label the target from "Unknown Assumed Enemy" to "F-14".
Investigations found that the crew bent the information into a scenario they have trained for, a single plane coming for an attack run, the captain also was known for his aggressive standoff.
The US government never expressed responsibility or liability for what happened. The men of the USS Vincennes were all awarded combat-action ribbons.

boo hoo for sazae-san......This video has been removed due to terms of use violation.

nice work, maudlin, but not quite right:
'neko' means 'cat'. 'doraneko' means 'stray cat', and 'dora' (by itself) can also be used to mean 'stray cat' (just like 'tom' for 'tomcat' in english).
doraemon (this guy: http://www.shopro-entertainment.com/doraemon.html) is a cat-type robot from the 22nd century of the future. he's one of the most famous characters (manga/tv/advertising) in japan. he used to have cat ears, but they got bitten off by a mouse (in the future). the word 'dora' in his name is just like above.
many other characters and various items in "doraemon" are named 'dora-something', including the character you found. the reference is to doraemon himself.
"sazae-san" is a different show, also long-running and very popular. everybody watches it on sundays. the theme song starts with a verse about a 'doraneko' carrying fish and being chased by sazae-san. that's the question being answered by this experiment. everyone knows the sazae-san theme song, which is why this is so funny to japanese. they're taking the song very literally.
the experiment title comes from the song and is written in blue writing in the top right corner of the screen.
the conclusion of the clip you posted (starting with the writing against the sunrise over the earth) says:
'in this way a new piece of trivia is born into the world:'
'the [fish-stealing stray cat] that is chased by sazae-san can steal a maximum load of approximately a 2-kg bonito (fish)'
beautiful.
here's the sazae-san theme song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLhrRvlTzYw&search=sazae

A true Cat Burglar!!
I don't think Goliath's missed many meals in his life. Smart cat!
He reminds me a lot of an extremely mellow and affectionate entire tomcat that used to live in our student co-op. This cat obviously trusts humans a lot, so he must have been somebody's pet. I wonder if his original owners just dumped him one day.
