A “Positive” review of Agriya by one of our client (1sttube Talk Post)

chicchorea says...

Agriya has always been instrumental in providing a promising start, to our client’s entrepreneurial beginnings. The latest one to join the list is “Toyin Aromorie”, here he is opining the kind of experience he had with us, right from the web development services to the customer support. He preferred our “Getlancer bidding- freelancer clone script” to launch his very own “Job hiring portal”.

terence mckenna-culture is not your friend

shagen454 says...

I remember when I used to create artwork for punk, indie & rock acts and the guy that sat across from me used to play electronica with Mckenna talking over it. I heard it a lot and for years I thought he was annoying & insane [both Mckenna and the kid that sat across from me lol), yapping about drugs and aliens... it seemed absolutely absurd.

... Almost a decade later I took a couple of puffs of the real magical adventure and I've listened to Mckenna probably a few times a week for years

Those puffs of the real magic dragon, the real genie in the bottle, the real portal to other dimensions will make a person sensitive to petty monkey human judgements and though I have forgiven myself for being judgemental of Mckenna, I will always remember that I had been. Be gone monkey judgements!

Why We Need Half Life 3

shagen454 says...

I always have Steam powered up but I haven't thought about Valve as Valve in a while and though I liked both Portal's I almost never considered them Valve games, just games they bought the rights to and plopped the developers in their offices .

But, it seems like Valve are done with games. They're a software platform & hardware developers now. What is sad about that is I don't give two shits about any of their hardware products: HTC Vive, Steam controller, Steam machines.... it's all rubbish.

Go back to making good games!!

PORTAL (Teens React: Gaming)

I loved Portal 1, but still need to play Portal 2.

The way they got stuck on level 3 drove me up the wall... My oldest, who's now 11, probably played it first around 6 or 7 and didn't get confused until level 8 or so (if I recall properly).

That all said, it still is probably one of the most perfectly well designed games ever, at least in terms of how it eases you into each lesson during the tutorial levels. I'd also guess we'd see a Portal 3 before a Half Life 3. I'd think they are afraid of HL3 at this point...

Warcraft Trailer

Shepppard says...

Also, there's SOOOOOOOOOOOO many little easter eggs in this that i've found, so i'll just list a few (that hopefully won't contain spoilers)

Lakeshire from Redridge Mountains is there
Dalaran is in the sky
Karazhan is there, with what appears to be an old Khadgar, or Medivh
there's a scene with a young Varian Wrynn
The scene with the alliance gathered around the table has a dwarf, and elves.
Potentially Sylvannas and Kael'thalas in it
Gul'dan is (Very VERY) briefly in this
The Dark Portal (not open, the wraith statue gate) can be seen twice

and there's a couple more very spoiler heavy ones i'll leave out.

How to DMT

shagen454 says...

I'm sure there are people out there that have come up with software/technology from the influence of DMT, they just haven't come forth. I'd say that it has recognizably influenced ideas & thought - especially in the area of frequencies, energy, reality is a hologram sort of shit like that because the DMT experience is the frequency, mandala portal experience, lol! It's certainly influenced great art, look at Alex Grey. I've learned a lot of things that seem to not apply to this reality and the last time I took it, the only thing I learned was "GOOGLE", lol.

LSD on the otherhand has definitely influenced technology and science. My favorite LSD thought experiment become reality was Francis Crick's discovery of the DNA strand while on it.

"I'm still waiting for the insightful invention someone comes up with after one of these amazing 'conversations' with non-human beings. If this drug really did what those into it claim, you would expect most users to be incredible 'outside the box' inventors advancing science in ways normal people would never consider...but I have not heard of even a single instance of that kind of useful insight coming from DMT."

The best way to reduce risk from taking, or getting caught with DMT is to not do it.
