Totally. I mean the first thing I heard from these guys was Voyage 34. Coma Divine and In Abstenia were their some of their best.

Deadwing just... didn't resonate at all and i was there at their tour when they passed through Montreal. I did cum at the end though when they honored the fans and played radioactive toy and trains... as an encore.

I'm guessing you thought coma divine was the best and deadwing the worst. A lot of people don't like deadwing, but as I was introduced to them with their In Abstentia album, deadwing was a nice dark follow up. Once I heard Coma Divine though, I wondered why they decided to stray from that sound.

It's funny how you picked to me one of their best and worst albums as a combination.

I guess now i have to listen to it.

I really miss them doing stuff like Voyage 34.

What's your first memory of rock & roll? (Rocknroll Talk Post)

In the 80s when I first heard Queen's Radio Ga Ga, grunge in the 90s as everyone else and their dog at the time. But more Soundgarden then Nirvana. Then in the late 90s to 00s I was really into metal and death metal, stuff like Opeth, Lamb of God and Olds Man Child.

Now mostly I listen to Porcupine Tree on occasion. Most of the new stuff sounds too hipster for me, though some tracks from TV on the Radio and Bloc Party are really nice.

Mixtape - Space Trip (Blog Entry by Farhad2000)

That was an absolute joy to listen to. Especially loved the dark, sinister, rockin' Porcupine Tree tune. The whole thing was brilliant. Thanks Farhad.

edit
The fourth and fifth songs were also the bomb.

Cool. Love the prog rock. Are you in to any of the contemporary stuff like Porcupine Tree. It might not fit your playlist criteria, but you might enjoy it regardless.

I'm a mega-hardcore prog rock fan and love Porcupine Tree (seen them several times live). I just posted a new clip here if you're interested. I failed to get 10 votes for this before.
