Entering someone’s personal space…finger pointing under 1 ft from their face in a threatening or aggressive way certainly counts, pointing your finger in their face and yelling certainly counts as aggressive, this allows the other party to defend themselves and they may remove you physically by pushing the offending appendage away.
Retaliation for your hand being removed from someone’s personal space is another battery. That’s what happened IMO.

Sorry, chilaxe, but it was an army comprised of mainly christians that invaded Iraq and caused the deaths of untold thousands of innocent Iraqi citizens. Of course the situation was much more complicated than just one religion against another, but if christians are all about love and muslims are all about violence, then tell me how that happened.

I'm not trying to say that one group is worse than another, I'm saying that you can't point your finger at one group and say "there's your problem". They are ALL a problem, they all cause (or significantly contribute) to murder and other atrocities.

Heh, as pointed out in the video, Colbert was purposely trying to provoke this kind of response. It's common knowledge (or should be) that news organizations do this kind of thing all the time. Colbert's use of it makes the whole thing hilariously ironic. To get outraged is to miss the point. Instead, point your finger and laugh.
