The Duality Of MAGA

surfingyt says...

MAGA Witness Admits He Is A Russian Intelligence Agent

newtboy says...

Still waiting little boy.

So, that paperwork….how’s that going?

Oh…that attempt to remove the prosecutors because they had a consensual relationship at one time. How’s that going?
How about trying to make something about an experienced prosecutor getting paid more than his assistants….how’s that playing out? You know he’s not the first prosecutor she tried to hire, or the highest fee she offered, but others weren’t willing to be subjected to death threats from MAGA against them and their families without any security.

Once again, yes, you have one of the worst case of Trump derangement syndrome that anyone here has ever encountered, full blown and active, 100% blinded to reality by your irrational hatred of progress and equality under the law.….treatment isn’t working one bit your derangement is getting worse.
If Trump wasn’t actively trying to steal our democracy again after failing on his first attempt, I wouldn’t ever give him a thought. We cannot survive another 2020, the country would dissolve just like Trump’s benefactors (like Putin and Xi) are hoping it will.

How about your reply on the paperwork filed with the Supreme Court about Jack Smith not being a legitimate Special Prosecutor?

Or Fani Willis procurator banging the hired help and her conflict of interest- let along paying her lover twice as much as the other 2 she hired.

Do I have Trump derangement syndrome or do you have so much Anti Trump running through you that you are blinded by reality?

The Paradox of an Infinite Universe

newtboy says...

There’s no paradox, there no such thing as “infinity” in reality.
Infinity is an unreal mathematical concept like “i” (imaginary numbers that are the square root of a negative number).
Useful in calculations but really it’s just a placeholder for our lack of understanding about how the universe works (or a simplistic lie to evade giving a difficult, long, and incomplete explanation) , it’s not something found in nature.

Why not a mobius toroid? …or maybe a multidimensional toroid that’s (somehow) a donut in every direction? …or maybe both at once? Have some imagination, physicists. Don’t limit yourself to only the dimensions you perceive or how you see them
Time/space could be something like this and we only perceive the point where all 3 axis converge….

Uh-oh….Jordan and Comer and Grassley and other MAGA traitors are facing conspiracy charges for knowingly using Russian disinformation as the basis for their impeachment fraud, suborning perjury, and maybe acting as unregistered foreign agents.
They wasted tens of millions and paralyzed congress over nonsense they knew was disinformation from the start, which has been corroborated by other Republicans who were there in the room when they were told years ago that he was a Russian agent spreading Russian disinformation designed to hurt America by sewing division and distrust in the government.

It’s blatantly obvious it’s a fraudulent revenge impeachment campaign to retaliate for two proper impeachments of Trump that complicit Senators protected him from despite his undeniable guilt. Obvious to all, even MAGA.

The thing here is if they continue this sham now that their primary and only source has been indicted for lying in this case and being an unregistered Russian agent there’s no more pretending he might be “highly credible”, they will knowingly and publicly be conspiring directly with Russia in a publicly known scheme to weaken America for the benefit of our enemy, not just giving more aid and comfort but actually attacking America in their name, and will be found guilty of treason…so what’s it gonna be, fellas?

Trump brought back firing squads, right? Seems like three candidates stepped forward.

Shocker! The infant STILL DOESN’T HAVE THE BALLS TO ADMIT BEING WRONG. Especially sad since you insist on being wrong almost exclusively.
Keep trying to change the subject, I’ll keep bringing it back to your insecurity and infantilism, such a scared baby that admitting a mistake seems like it would end you, wouldn’t it. Don’t worry, you’ll learn to grow up once you get to preschool.

BTW- Trump promises “very powerful crime” in DC if elected. 😂
Also, Karen Greene wasted the courts time by appealing her fines for refusing to wear a mask in congress all the way to the Supreme Court, (shocked they heard it) and today lost her final appeal. She’ll have to pay the $100000 (and probably 3 times that in legal fees) and has wasted the time of 3 courts that had better cases to try. Typical MAGA Karen, all about her non existent rights overriding everyone else’s rights AND safety, and absolutely zero thought to the cost to others.

Still crickets about the ONLY witness (who never produced ANY evidence) in the Biden impeachment sham admitting he is a Russian intelligence agent and the story came directly from Russian counter intelligence.
Worse, this is the SECOND main MAGA witness from the impeachment scam that turned out to be an intelligence agent of our enemies, remember the first one who was a Chinese agent and illicit oil and arms dealer for our enemies that was also indicted for lying about this case….but you said you still had credible witness Smirnoff and all his indisputable proof. 🤦‍♂️

Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO) who was in the room has admitted the Republicans/MAGA were told their witnesses were not credible in any way BEFORE THEY HEARD FROM THEM OR SAW ANY INTERVIEWS. They knew this was all propaganda directly from our enemies from the very start and ran with it anyway. This makes all MAGA a foreign agent that knowingly lied to America in order to weaken us.

This has made all MAGA nothing more than a subsidiary of Pravda, the Kremlin’s propaganda paper. Absolutely everything the MAGA house has done this session is based on hostile foreign agents lying to them and them buying the lies. Working with our enemies to spread lies that are designed to weaken America…sure SOUNDS like treason to me. Treasonous traitors belong in Gitmo until their turn with the firing squad.

Oops…again…True The Vote, the main “source” for the fantasy film 2000 mules, admitted in court they have absolutely no evidence of anything they claimed in the movie or elsewhere, and don’t even know the identity of their own “anonymous source” that never provided any documentation for his/her alleged allegations that they claimed to have in the film….if they exist at all.

In short, we made it up…or our idiot drunk uncle did… and we ran with it. Your fault if you believed us, suckers. Thanks for buying out entire empty theaters to promote and support our film. 😂

Arizona House Expels Republican Member

luxintenebris jokingly says...

just to give some perspective...on how today's GOP is...compared to how it was...

RE: Senate Robert Packwood's expulsion

"At one point, the Ethics Committee had to get full Senate approval to seek a court order to enforce a subpoena for a voluminous diary kept by Packwood during his time in the Senate...Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., who is now the Senate majority leader, delivered a speech on the Senate floor in 1993, arguing for enforcement of the subpoena.

"Are we up to the job?," McConnell asked rhetorically, though it was an open question at the time. "Can we through the instrument of the Ethics Committee impartially and thoroughly investigate incidences of misconduct by our colleagues and will we give the committee the authority it needs to get the job done right?"

https://www.npr.org/2017/11/27/566096392/when-bob-packwood-was-nearly-expelled-from-the-senate-for-sexual-misconduct

but it seems worse today.

after seeing the evidence against NJ Sen. Bob Menendez, it seems that the U S Senate, in general, on being held to the highest standards - those standards aren't being held. or even attempted anymore.

Any wonder the Capitol, Congress, or SCOTUS is viewed contemptuously - not just for the obvious slandering politics - but for the glaring ethics violations?

Would have added the Presidency, but that's gone UP in recent years. 91 counts versus nil (which could be part of his campaign).

anyway...found M.C.'s speech smirk-inducing.

Remember this?….still applies.

MAGA falling star Boebert couldn’t even get mentioned in her latest “debate”. Her opponents have realized that she’s not worth attacking and is better ignored completely. It’s incredibly gratifying to watch the masses turn away from fascist delusional MAGAism and back towards legislators that want to legislate, not destroy our government (and let us become a Chinese satellite nation). Buh-bye Bobo. 😂

There are no Republicans left. MAGA RINOs ate the party, no true Republican would still call themselves one.
My mother voted 100% Republican her entire lifetime, but started being disillusioned by Bush jr (she campaigned for Sr) and more so by Palin. She, like many others, says she didn’t leave the party, it left her.

I agree Russia is going to lose here…already has by many measures. I just hope American soldiers don’t end up doing the fighting or things will get out of control FAST. We are not well known for our restraint or de escalation and don’t want to be in direct conflict with a nuclear power. Fighting them by proxy is the pest possible fight for us, we should be pouring ammo into Ukraine as fast as they can shoot it or we will end up spending way more. Ukraine is the first step in Putin’s Soviet restoration plans, not the last.

"republican" lol. their party has become so corrupt and lost its way. cant believe im hearing a republican encourage russia to attack our allies. did they learn nothing from the cold war? we kicked the crap out of russia. we will do it again.

2023 Was Already Over 1.5 °C Above Pre Industrial Averages

newtboy says...

It’s scary to me that we found out that today (last year in fact) we are already exceeding the temperature spike most people believe is predicted for 2050, the temperature at which scientists determined KNOWN feedback loops may outpace our ability to mitigate greenhouse gasses even with maximum effort on all fronts and spending every possible dollar and still (almost) NO ONE CARES.

It has barely made the news anywhere, definitely not on any of the major U.S. networks and will never be on anti-science righty media.

I would shout “WAKE THE FUCK UP PEOPLE!” But it’s abundantly clear humanity is completely comatose and shows no sign of recognizing the situation we are in no matter what they see outside their own windows daily.

The pot is boiling and we frogs are still arguing over how wet the water is.

Democrats only care about Illegals, not Americans

newtboy says...

Of course he was talking about those specific undocumented immigrants they care about most.
Of course the undocumented immigrants IN THE COUNTRY are the ones our representatives should care about the most.
Only a brain dead slug hears this quick cut clip and thinks “see, they only care about illegal immigrants, not Americans.” Bob thinking that is proof of my point.

NDT Explains Why 2023 Climate Models Failed

bcglorf says...

Media(and even some of the vocal scientists trying to urge action) have been guilty of overstating confidence in climate modelling. Which is more or less what they are agreeing on in the video.

The IPCC summary of state of the art climate modelling, and virtually ALL published papers on various climate models agree that the unknown and poorly modelled aspects of our climate are larger than the known influence of CO2.

That is to say, the physical modelling largely operates on energy in and out from the Sun and then playing out how changes in that energy balance operate. The thing is, that energy budget is enormous, and the number of factors at play are even larger and dynamic to make it more fun. The influence of CO2 in the energy budget is one of the relatively straightforward elements, and so we've got a pretty good and confident assessment of how much it impacts energy balance. The problem with climate modelling, is that the CO2 impact is smaller than the errors and unknowns in many other factors in the model including clouds.

Which is all saying that our climate modelling is hard, and even though we know CO2 changes are pushing the energy balance up, our modelling of the energy balance is still not good enough to accurately predict energy balance changes. That means we've got a giant 'all other things being equal' qualifier on model projections because if cloud behaviour changes based on temperature, we KNOW that our errors there are larger than the influence of CO2.

Modellers have been trying to draw attention to this nuance, but it's been deemed inconvenient to persuading the public to act and thus ignored by many pushing for action. The almost inevitable side effect though is that over time the reality of the models inaccuracy will play out and the public is gonna be asking why 'science' was wrong.

Trump Supporter CHANGES MIND on Biden in 60sec

Russia invaded Ukraine to expand. They came up with a dozen lame excuses, like protecting Russian speaking people in Crimea from being insulted and to stop the local government (who they called extremists) from taking abandoned Russian military bases, NATO expansion was never a reason they gave for invading.
In Ukraine proper, his stated excuse was that the new Ukrainian government (formed after the Kremlin installed puppet government was ousted) was comprised of NAZIs who were ethnically cleansing Russian speakers in the East, a total fabrication.
https://www.euractiv.com/section/global-europe/news/in-putins-words-why-russia-invaded-ukraine/
Try keeping your revisionist Russia centric anti democratic fantasy history to yourself. I know some random internet blowhard failure broadcasting from mommy’s basement told you this alternative fact nonsense, you have got to stop trusting them.

There’s been more NATO expansion in “buffer” nations since Russia invaded than in the 50+ years beforehand, with more coming because they invaded their neighbor…again.

Ukraine will be a NATO country now, so is our business.
Ukraine was in a treaty with the US, so was already our business. We guaranteed their borders against invasion in exchange for their nuclear arsenal. No nation will ever do a nuclear disarmament treaty with America, we don’t keep our word or we would be fighting there.
Russian expansionism isn’t stopped by ignoring it, it’s encouraged. Trump encouraged the expansionism into Ukraine proper (Crimea was Ukraine) when he recognized Russia’s claim on the seized territory, giving the green light to expand their military operations in Eastern Ukraine (that they denied existed but absolutely were there fighting during Trump’s administration and even before, recall Russians shot down a passenger plane in Ukraine in 2014 and never left).

The EU is supportive enough of Ukraine that they just unanimously agreed to $54 billion in military aid, and the EU is our closest trading partner so again, our business. The MAGA ploy to block any aid to Ukraine to aid Russia (hoping it would look bad for Biden) has failed, the EU miraculously stood up as a unified front and agreed to fund Ukraine.
NATO has agreed to admit Ukraine as soon as possible, something never considered before the invasion.

Ukraine is a lost war, lost by Russia…Russia just won’t admit it yet, but their country will be feeling the loss for decades…loss of their army, loss of an entire generation of young men, loss of their economy, loss of hundreds of trade agreements/partners, loss of trillions of dollars, loss of international standing and cooperation, loss of stability. At this point, even if Russia took Ukraine tomorrow, it would be a loss for Russia. They destroyed their prize, and themselves in the process, and the rest of the world is happy to destroy them through a proxy while Russia engages directly and is crushed daily.
Winning!

https://youtu.be/WhILMFdifhk?si=k-egPJ1oDrqKrd_S

Ukraine has already won this war by destroying Russia. It’s exceedingly likely they will also drive the Russians out and may even take some of Russia a s a buffer zone…Russia is losing badly.

bobknight33 said:

The question is Why is Russia invading Ukraine.

The answer is NATO creeping into buffer countries that was agreed on after the fall of Russia.

Finally Ukraine is not a NATO country----------- This is none of our business.

Ukraine is a lost war.
